Tonight I installed a route from ATS (Manchester Lines) and when I went to play it, my usual controls had changed. I use a PS4 controller so L1 and R1 are accelerate and brake (combined units) and I can normally use the left analog stick for the reverser. Tonight I played and the throttle/brake were on the analog stick and I couldn't use the reverser (even in cab the reverser was not selectable). Also, the HUD had changed slightly so it did not show the reverser position and camera controls were inverted despite not been selected. Could this new route install have somehow changed my game?
Nick... personally I prefer the keyboard but, I know that DIFFLOCK & Peter Hayes both use Xbox controllers... Maybe they can help you out??? Eric
Have a look in the settings to see if you have simple controls selected now. I don't see how installing a route would do that but the simple setting does restrict the controls (without actually making control any simpler...) so I think it's worth checking.
https://steamcommunity.com/app/24010/discussions/3/3183345000080432986/ I cannot vouch for a PS4 controller, but the above thread mentions that with simple controls on you get the left stick controlling the throttle and not the reverser.. it appears that JJ might be on the right track (I'll get me coat! ). Please check that simple controls aren't activated.
