This route is on Steam. It uses the UP stock from Classics. It has a lot of opportunities at very versatile industries so I decided I'll model the US on it, NS+CN in the east and UP+BNSF in the west, running engines and consists I otherwise didn't run much.

The shots might be more characteristic to me than anyone, so as a means to help, they are:
Shot 1) Long curves. 2D trees. Plenty of flowers. Bushes are actually large treetops. But overall it looks nice.
Shot 3) While visible on shot 1, this showcases that the long curve seems to sit near... the end of the world? Is this a layout?
Shot 2) I don't know many routes where the rails cross over. Of course I do, Horseshoe, NEC near Newark.

Telling you that you're on a good trail, there are only a couple routes left fulfilling all the criteria. But really, just one.

    Correct!

Erm, in case that was a mistake, sorry about that. I'll check and verify.
(Checked. No rules stated here. Arguable.)
On a related note, I just figured out yesterday that good old Castle Rock is for real. I though all those are fictional.

It's really about having driven it, or not so much. You could show me Glasgow Central and I wouldn't know.
The scenery - style - is very characteristic.
I was peeking into the other thread a few times and some are really obscure. Challenging, if you like :)

It's ok! I think we have never clarified that, that's why I asked, but there's no mistake

It can't be Sacramento, because that would be too obvious, hence it can! Anyway, that's my only guess :)
The shadow on the wall is crazy :) Nice catch of the moment.

Despite the name, the route that's featured in TS21 doesn't go all the way to Sacramento, it stops at the car ferry on the southern side of Suisun Bay.

    That would be Johnstown, PA.

Koblenz-Trier, the end of the branch line from Bullay, Traben-Trarbach. That's a recognizable Aldi / Lidl there.

The loco is an Alco RS11? in Pennsylvania livery so it could be on a number of routes

    You are both correct.
The question is, was I nasty, or was I not.
In any event, once you figure out the solution, you'll find it surprisingly familiar.

Taken a wee bit to the south, but the same town:

If you check the route map...
... or you don't, and I have to tell you to keep this thread going.

Sorry, I don't have the route, so I can only tell it is Horseshoe. I am kind of busy these days also, otherwise I would have made a research in google maps.

Looks to be somewhere in/around the Johnstown Yard. The first pic was definitely near the Woodvale tracks. Not too sure about the second one though.

    There you go! Your turn.
Yes, it's Woodvale Yard, which for worldwide purposes can qualify as Johnstown as well.
The second is a bit earlier during the scenario (Working the Branch) as you go towards there from Johnstown.
Due to elevation I guess, there is a line of both sides of the river, all the way up to some industry.

Originally constructed in the early 1900's, this station served the nearby rail line for decades until it was closed towards the end of the 20th century. Now, the site is used as a wedding venue from time to time.

Looking for the station in the background, it was built in 1908, with the last train stopping in 1937, still stands today, though in poor condition.

Ok for this one you don't need to necessarily say the specific location, but more which route it is in general (since it's a very small one).
