As anyone been able to do service 2R53 16:45 Paddington to Reading in the Class 166. You leave Paddington under caution and pull up to the next red signal were an AI class 166 comes and meets you head on. Never had this before
Sometimes the game messes up, I got stuck at a red on TVL, waited a while & no change, saw on map a train waiting at next station, i saved & reloaded & oddly the shunt signal cleared & let me through only to be presented with the rear end of the still waiting train!
yeah I tried again only this time I treated the caution signal as a red and waited for the AI to pass the junction but the AI decided to stop and a red signal so we are at a bit of a stalemate. I've just ran a service close to the time of the faulty service and watched the AI's on the 2D map and the 16:45 leaving Paddington should be held on red
Spawn on foot at 16.40 at Paddington. Go to Platform 10 and wait for doors to close. (about 16.41.30). Get in the cab and take over the service. I think it initially says 'no service' but changes to the 16.45 departure eventually. It seems to run ok with no blocking in coming service but, you do follow the 16.42 service quite closely so a lot of reds and yellows. I didn't bother completing the run but assume the rest of it is ok.
