Whilst not officially confirmed, it certainly seems that the Rush Hour bundle will include London to Brighton. I'd like to make two suggestions that in my opinion would improve the route and make things more enjoyable for players. Firstly, I'd love to see the line extended by approximately two miles to Reigate. This very short extension would improve game play by allowing players to terminate at Reigate, improving variety on the route. Secondly, GWR runs an hourly service to Gatwick from Reading. This joins the route at Reigate and then reverses at Redhill to go to Gatwick. This is the perfect opportunity to add a layer to a UK route, and would further improve the variety of content with minimal work for DTG. Whilst the runs are pretty short, they would still make an interesting sight and offer some short trips for when players are tight on time.
If the branch is only 2 miles long I don't see why they shouldn't make it! Any branch improves service variety! As for the GWR they could layer a class 166 in from GWE
But even a branch that is 2 miles long is likely not to be added . We probably would’ve had news on the branch line if it was coming .
