Although it is disappointing to see that (yet again) no effective testing has taken place for another TSW 2 product on Playstation...... .... I actually think that the DB BR 101 will become a firm favourite of mine (on PC), and it is great to see such a fabulous train put on HRR, a truly fabulous route..... So.... anyway.... when someone gets around to testing the DB BR 101 on Playstation, and the various people involved agree a way to fix the defective bits, I think it would be a very good idea to improve the communitying/marketing of the product by..... .... listing the DLC under the TSW 2 game page on Playstation Store.
It's gotten worse over time, as now not a single DLC in the PSN store is linked to TSW 2 anymore. There's no way to select all associated DLCs. One chance we have is the search function... IMHO that's not a very smart way of marketing. The other chance would be the ingame link, but I don't like that and won't use it.
Yep - they've all gone now. Not a single TSW 2 DLC is linked to the TSW 2 page on the PS Store. But this must surely be temporary (?). Maybe they are doing an update, and it will all be back in a few hours? I won't use the in-game link either - I never do this with any game. I always use the XMB to scan the DLC for a game, because you get a list of what you own and what you don't.. You can, of course, search for individual DLC, if you know exactly what you are looking for. I have raised the issue of missing DLC before for TSW. But nothing was done, so I don't know why I bother. Okay, I do know... it is because I care about TSW. I just wish someone else at DTG cared enough to include "proper listing of DLC on relevant marketplaces" in a checklist to be completed when launching a DLC. Basic project planning.
This part of my earlier post isn't completely correct. If you search for TSW 2 under the Playstation Store icon, and then go to Add-Ons, you will see almost all of the TSW 2 DLC listed there on the TSW 2 game page (except the DB BR 101). However, if you use the game icon on the XMB (as I do), then the same DLC listing no longer appears (none of the DLC) - you can only see what you own (even if you do not own all DLC). I thought maybe this was a change to the XMB by Sony, but it isn't - it works normally for every other PS game. It's just TSW 2 where it is broken.
