    Hi,
I do not know if this was reported before, but just in case...

I decided to run the really very interesting 4 part Journey of Coal:
1 - Empty cars from Cumberland to mine.
    2 - Loading cars
    And...
3 - Reversing train and preparing to go to loaded to Cumberland
    Here I have the problems.

    A) Minor issue: the EOTD is located in front of the locomotive, instead on the last car, where there is nothing

Second minor issue, is on Second Part despite I load all the cars correctly, does not exceed speed limit, and stopped exactly where indicated, I only get a Bronze medal.
I repeated this Part,- as it is short one -, and exactly the same.
I did the first one which is much more difficult and longer from Cumberland to the Mine and I got Gold medal.

Third and also a relative minor issue, but this is more noticeable!
Despite I loaded all the coal cars on Part 2 at full load as it is expected, on Part 3, surprisingly they appeared like this! TSW2 - SPG - COAL - PART3 - LESS COAL OR EMPTY CARS.jpg TSW2 - SPG - COAL - PART3 - COAL NOT AT TOP.jpg

Most of them not top loaded, and even some of them completely empty!

    Finally the main issue.
When making all the locomotive movements to change them from the front of the train to the back, in order to make the train ready to depart to Cumberland on the opposite direction, I found a red light!
On the last movement to couple the locomotives to the coal freight cars.

When trying to advance, the activity ends due to pass the red light!

So I can not continue and finish this Part 3.
I did it twice with the same final
There is something I am missing, in order to get the green light?

Hope someone can help me about it, but also if DTG is not aware about this issues, could be fixed!

Red light: wait. There is a train passing before you can cross over to the right-hand track.

Bronze medal: for whatever reason, many short services in TSW never seem to award more than bronze, no matter what.

    Thanks for your reply.
But please notice I came from the track you see on the picture where I am stopped..
On the track at the left there are the coal freight cars I have to couple, in order to take the train to Cumberland yard.

The maneuver is as follows: I took the train from the coal mine to this siding. Then as I have to take the locomotives to the other side of the train, I went backwards and switched to go through the track all the way up to the following switch - before the coal cars on the other side - stop, and start the reverse maneuver, in order to take them on the opposite direction to Cumberland.
There is where the red light does not allows me to continue, to get the freight cars, unfortunately!

I may have misunderstood what you are describing, but I believe this is where you would have to contact the signaller for permission to proceed. The Cars are in the block, so the signal will not change without you getting clearance to enter the occupied block.

    Thanks GuitarMan
I guess that could be possible, but I saw it only on German routes, not in USA ones.
How do you get such permission?
    Thank you in advance.

Guitar Man is correct. When a block is occupied, including by uncoupled cars, the block entrance signal is automatically red. You contact the dispatcher for permission to enter it, which should be given since you're there to couple to the cars.

I contacted dispatcher in order to get authorization, and it worked out.
As mentioned, since an early run on a Preserved Collection German rout a long time ago, I did not had this situation, so did not remember it.
As I have suffered lot of Timetables cancellation due to red lights because not moving train at front, I believe this was the same situation.

So thank you very much for your help about it.
    Regards

As you may know on most routes the end part of it, it is not accessible by train.
I mean, after the final station, usually there are around 1 km of tracks, but with interesting things to see.
For example after Koln HBF there is the fantastic bridge!
I believe those areas are included in order to go walking there.

Usually you have a red light, despite on this case there is no train there.
So I contacted dispatcher, to see what happens... and I received "Proceed at low speed"
But when I pass the red light, the run was cancelled due to that issue.:(
