Do station platforms usually come with grass covered platforms? This is at Kupfermuhle, on hamburg to lubceck
I noticed it too (PC). Paradoxically, I like this station very much for that. In fact, there was grass, at least at the time this picture was taken BR o7
In Germany its common to have large parts of platforms covered in grass. I'm watching alot of drivers view vidoes on Youtube from all over Germany lately and it's very fascinating. Some really nice quirky routes.
In the UK they often shorten platforms by putting a barrier in and then let the remainder "go to seed", so you get one bit of platform clear and maintained, and the remainder covered in all sorts of vegetation
