I'll make sure that you can by the time it ships Peter. The plan is to have a fully drivable tamper, an AI tamper (that tamps) and a dummy that you can drag along.

So close to the finish line now, just cab 2 to tidy up some more and a couple of sounds to add, then even more testing.

The amount of scripting I've had to write to get it to do everything you'd expect was way more than I anticipated, but hopefully worth the effort.

31,000 views, nice :) Onto finishing up on the Tamper audio now, not much left to do just a few bits I'd like to make more seamless. Other highlights of the bank holiday weekend include getting the drivers control desk lights fully working in relation to their corresponding switches and installing a nice looking AWS sunflower.

Time well spent. Now I think it's time for a pint of Guinness or two

Haha, she's currently sitting at about 460,000 polys... gotta make some savings wherever possible! The PC on the left hand side of the cab does boot up to desktop as of today though :)

    Also, hold my beer ;)

I knew someone was gonna ask this as soon as I saw the picture..

PIP ("Picture In Picture" which is what you'd need for this to work) is not a thing in the TS engine unfortunately

Sure would be a miracle (and quite probably illegal) because he'd have to reverse engineer and then re-write the base game engine.. Unless of course the ability to PiP is already there but unutilised, can you imagine this engine doing three image draws instead of only one, 0.05 fps anyone? :D:D

No rule breaking, but I wouldn't want to disappoint... the devil is in the detail :)

    detail1.jpg

    detail2.jpg

    detail3.jpg

It's not flawless, but it's as good as you're going to get within the confines of the TS engine (and a damn sight better than a static image on the vdu's), now, after pulling off that stunt it's time to hit the hay, I can hear the first birds chirping outside!

Some really trick logic and maths were required to pull that off thanks to the variable framerate.
