Ahh I found it, just had to dig in the forum a bit. https://www.uktrainsim.com/filelib-info.php?form_fileid=39733
1) Amtrak P30CH with the Los-San Star passing by some beachfront property 2) D&RGW moves a load of coal past a road renewal, climbing towards Soldier Summit 3) Union Pacific - Ship & Travel the Automated Rail Way! 4) NJ Transit GP40PH-2B takes a short train on the branch line on a crispy spring morning 5) The industrial area on the Southeast bank of the Conemaugh River in Johnstown, PA changed a lot throughout the years
Not allowed to post this on the screenshot contest thread, which has a "Moving Coal" theme, so I'm posting it here Route Galati - Braila - Faurei
DSGDDR released his new Pennsy I1 model today so I took it for a test drive. I have to say, it looks absolutely amazing!
Yep! The I1 (along with his E6, H10, and NYC J3a models) can be found here: https://www.dsgddr.com.br/
1) A Class 101 in BR Blue-Grey towards Exeter on a beautiful spring afternoon 2) A GP40PH-2B climbs Horseshoe Curve with a regional train 3) PRR Alco RS-11 in the midst of many Wye moves, having taken some coal from Piccadilly to Johnstown 4) Dusk approaches in Wyoming as GTEL takes UP Extra 30 West on Track 3, approaching Dale Junction soon (GWD304) 5) Dusk settles over the coast while NJ Transit 2611 heads towards Long Branch just out of frame (GWD318)
Testing some open top autorack reskins from Railworks America, which use a Brazilian model as a base. Also, where the Brazilian model autorack came from, I found out they made a BB40T-2 as well as some other Brazilian locos.
https://www.machine-rail.com/material-rodante However the do some things in their locomotive packages that they shouldn't do such as leaving geopx files in the folders, as well as other things.
1) NJT GP40PH-2B on the last leg of its journey towards Bay Head on the North Jersey Coast Line 2) Two Class 378 sets meet on the North London Line during Quattro Service 3) SWT Class 455 passes Large Enton Lake in all its summertime glory on the Portsmouth Direct Line 4) A quintet of DRGW SD40T-2s descends from Soldier Summit with a Kaiser Steel K-Train towards Provo, Utah 5) Union Pacific DD35 trio climbs from Laramie towards Sherman Summit, led by a brand new cab unit
1) Summer night on Settle-Carlisle - Also, where am I? 2) A CN/IC SD40-2 takes empty hoppers from Castle Rock to Monument on the BNSF/UP Joint Line in Colorado 3) An EWS Class 08 with some empty hoppers, about to cross Grange Burn 4) A trio of UP ES44ACs on a late Sherman Hill Summer afternoon 5) A unit train of Union Pacific boxcars is about to approach Johnstown soon
The story behind it is that a week ago I was looking for scenarios to do, so I selected one from Battle of Sherman Hill, then I heard the horn, saw the paint, and was appalled, remembering that I'd never actually driven this locomotive before. It was completely stock. So after a quick "shopping" trip at Railworks America I had an accurate horn, bell and even a texture upgrade, and I was ready to go.
Highland Railway Jones Goods pulled passenger train at station. Alas, this was captured during a Quick Drive last year (2020). I don't recall the route:
Catching up with my weekly - tried to bring a few shots from Germany, hardly anyone shows those! 1) An Eurosprinter duo brings an ore train to Ehrang on a cloudy Autumn day 2) A 4-car Talent 2 running a morning commute from Trier to Koblenz 3) A NJT F40PH with a short local towards Bay Head 4) A BR Blue Class 101 from Carlisle towards Settle 5) A brand new Class 33/0 from Darlington not far from Durham
I forgot how great the D&RGW SD9 looks. shame the model hasn't been used outside of scenario packs....
Double Post Testing out mixing DTM's Southern Pacific locos with the tank train cars on 3D Trains version of Tehachapi Pass. (Southern Pacific Roll On)
I decided to take a trip along the North Wales Coastal, which is honestly the only modern UK route I have (and oddly enough the one that's now discontinued) while the Class 221 was an "odd" locomotive to handle, I forgot about how amazing British scenery can be.
Awhile back I began using what I consider my better TS2021 screen captures as Win10 desktop backgrounds. The image seen below is the first of them, and still a favorite. I 'almost' entered it in a recent official weekly screenshot contest (minus icons and taskbar, of course), then remembered that I ran RW Enhancer Pro, which disqualifies me.
1) The end of the line - at the North end of Peterborough yard on the ECML 2) A BR Blue Class 37 with a stopping service from London to Peterborough 3) It's getting dry on a hot late Summer day as an Amtrak P30CH leaves Larkspur, Colorado 4) NJ Transit's first ALP-45DP enjoys the last of the sun on a late Fall afternoon on the NJCL 5) A Class 33 in EWS Maroon (Thunderbird) rushes from Guildford to Haslemere to pick up a failed railtour
Shame screenshots like these can't make it into the competition... But that's why we have the unofficial comp, to show the best of what the community has to offer.
Yep, turns out I was wrong in that it does actually enhance what I had built upon already with graphic mods. Now I just need the famous AP weather enhancement pack.
Yes it is! With first-rate composition and framing, and a bit of help from add-ons like RW Enhancer (pro), Train Simulator can at times be an exceptionally good-looking game.
[QUOTE="triznya.andras, post: 313715, member: 12463"2) A GP40PH-2B climbs Horseshoe Curve with a regional train View attachment 55982 [/QUOTE] I did the same sort of thing
decrepitts: That's a very nice shot! Peter: Nice one NEC Railfan: My, looks really good indeed. I like the default cartoony style as well, but nice to have that touch of realism. 1) A BR Green Class 33/0 with a stopping service on Weardale & Teesdale (Durham to Wearhead) 2) A SWT Class 455 heads towards Portsmouth 3) Amtrak's Desert Wind with an F40PH duo on point snakes between rock formations on its way to Provo 4) The the dry season is starting as an Amtrak P42DC leads a passenger train through Cajon 5) The BR 155 in Press livery climbs the many grades of Seebergbahn carrying cars, carrying cars
