Being that we now have a London Underground route in the game, I wanted to know how much of the community would like to see more Subway Routes in the game. If so, what city/system?
I don't think the TSW dispatcher routine is currently equipped to handle "every train randomly between 15 minutes and 2 hours late."
Having just returned from a trip to Manhattan, NYC Subway is now at the very top of my wishlist. Just curious: What are the challenges Dovetail would face with delivering a NYC subway route versus some of the more conventional train routes? There are seemingly dozens of lines, how many could they be deliver in a single piece of DLC content?
I know they’ve done the Bakerloo line now so the chance of another tube line is approximately equivalent to that of an ice cream in hell, but I’d love the Metropolitan line.
Paris line 1 the oldest one from the network but prio its automation and it’s using rubber tyred trains MP05 ( MP89CC before automation and before that the MP59 ) so it would be a first time in TSW
Honestly and I know for most it's a meh idea but Hollywood US Red Line from Union Station to North Hollywood transit hub. I personally was homeless for quite a few years in Los Angeles (all is well now) and I could buy a 5 dollar day pass and ride an air conditioned or heated (season depending) train or any of the other commuter line all day. Trains were not just a love of mine they were also my shelter and comfort. Edit: Also just the very interesting (and if you've ridden the Red Line you know what I'm talking about) way that the automated station announcer would pronounce and emphasize HOLLYwood was always amusing to me.
I don’t think the red line ( B ) is interesting as it’s running with ATC and ATO I think the best if we stay in LA are the sub surface line or light rail system I don’t know how to call it exactly
I’d love to see more subways in the game as I’m really enjoying the Bakerloo line. DTG would obviously have to find an interesting and manageable route (not too short/long, sizeable overground & underground portions, tunnels with diverse curves & gradients, interesting stations), but I have no doubt there are quite a few routes (especially in Europe and North America) that would fit their criteria.
