It's currently in the process of being converted to hydrogen, not sure how much work has been done/still has to be done but i will be really awesome when complete Some interesting links https://www.railmagazine.com/news/network/hydrogen-trains-could-run-on-the-far-north-line https://www.theengineer.co.uk/scott...or view of a 314,converted to run on hydrogen.
It’s a pretty bad impression seeing as the running number isn’t even the same as the one that they’re actually converting haha
Why is it just sandwiched between regular passengers coaches? It' s like someone said just shove it anywere will get to it someday.
To me it looks like someone has bought a job lot of trains off ebay. Assorted classes, sold as seen, will be delivered in one package.
Could the gray/cream/red coach to the left of the br class 314 be a br mk 1 similar to the kind seen on the west sumerset route?
It's also a really hideous color combination. (Note to livery designers: radioactive green belongs nowhere except on tennis balls)
Its radioactive green to represent the environment, I always think of deadly radiation when I look out of the window, is that not normal? Also the middle doors are fluorescent blue, for the water used I guess?
I also took a trip behind 37067 which is identical to the Tees valley line class 37 (except from the livery of course)
It was probably moved this way. They add coaches or freight wagons when pulling a motor unit for braking power.
