i was running a Manifest services on Sand Patch Grade and it made me curious as to if the Freight cars i was hauling were random so i save, I take note of the first few cars and then i restart, check the cars and see they were the same give or take a few custom liveries in there, i restart again and its the same. So i decided to suggest maybe have some Trains have Randomized cars of course maybe have some Parameters like on clinchfield caboose must be on the end, But Randomized Cars on trains can bring more Layering opportunities like seeing a UP car on a CSX Train or how about the appearance of Clinchfield Freight cars on Sand Patch. The Opportunity is there and I would like to see randomized consists it would be realistic and bring more opportunities. thanks for reading
I'd like to see this more on German routes too, as it can improve diversity greatly. Currently, it seems like some routes have a lot of different freight wagons layering in from other routes and others don't. On top of that the cement wagons from the BR 363 DLC, and the Coal wagons from the BR 155 DLC don't layer onto any other routes. If there were some whay to create a kind of 'pool' of freight wagons (for every nation/region of course, like North America, the UK and Europe) that expands with every new freight wagon included in the DLC you buy, from which mixed freights are built up, that would be great! Of course there will still be trains with just one type of wagon in the consist (i.e. just container wagons). In the end it just comes down to using all the available freight wagons dynamically where it can improve variety.
