Yes, I know - there have been many German route and loco DLC's in the past, but bear with me. In my view, it would be nice if, based on the existing BR146 and Dostos, there would be an IC2 set in the long-distance livery, i.e. white with a red stripe. This, together with the BR101 and the "classic" IC coaches, oculd be layered as IC services into virtually every German route except maybe Köln-Aachen. If one owns both sets, they could sub in at random. If I'm not mistaken, this would be a change of livery mostyl, with only minor additions necessary for the interior and some small details (yes, I know they would still be the "wrong" Dostos in terms of doors). Also, along the same lines, the BR101 set could be modified so that there is a cab car. This would give the same functionality as the IC2 trains. Would be nice to see more IC services on the German routes, also in AI. What do you think?
IC2 should be paired up to DB BR147 if Skyhook Games is interested in modifying their DLC locomotive for Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen DB BR187 into a passenger version DB BR147. If are looking for a home route for this Riesa-Dresden and Rhein-Ruhr Osten the IC55 Line.
The only thing that we need are new Dostos because for the IC 2 they use a much newer generation of Dostos, some for the Br146.5, so this would be a new train and I would love to have it in TSW2
Yes, the Dostos would definitely need some modifications. But all in all, with the 146 or 147 (once the 187 is available), this could be a relatively easy way to bring more variety on German routes. In this context, I would love to see IC layers on RRO, HMA, SKA (they already exist on HRR and HHL).
I agree and this is the 2nd train to show the IC Train number this will say IC2040 Köln Hbf at Rhein-Ruhr Osten Hagen and Riesa-Dresden Riesa Bahnhof. The inbound train will say IC2040 Dresden Hbf at Rhein-Ruhr Osten Wuppertal Hbf and Riesa-Dresden Riesa. Another proposal in the forums have the powered version DB BR445/446
