This is normally the time of day where we announce the winner of this weeks screenshot competition. Due to complications showing the winning screenshot on the loading screens we won't be selecting a winner this week but will be extending the competition another week. The winner will be announced next Friday. I appreciate this is frustrating, but we want to ensure that when we select a winner everyone is represented fairly on the loading screens. Thank you all for your patience while we work on resolving this issue.
Yes you are welcome to change your entries between now and next Friday if you feel you can get a better shot.
Once again, thank you very much DTG Natster for your understanding and effort in solving this huge problem that plagues all of us, participants of this contest. We hope that, very soon, all the images that will win, in fact, appear on the loading screen, and thus, beautify all the moments we wait for us to start a scenario or service in the game. The TSW community appreciates your help!!!
Good. This will mean entries will actually get featured on the loading screens, instead of being let to rot.
I have removed my 1st entry in favour of a new picture Idea. Route Great Western Express Trains, Class 43, Class 395, TFL Tube stock 1972
Guys, I have good news to share with you! As we all know, the DTG team, thanks to our appeals, is finally working to fix the problem that currently plagues us so much, which is the case that some screenshots that win this contest don't appear on the Train Sim World 2's loading screen. And I have to say that the winning images from weeks 21 and 23 of this contest, which didn't appear on the loading screen for some players (like me) before, are finally showing!!! Really, this is a great relief to all of us, participants. However, even so, we need to keep an eye out to see if, in fact, all the images that will win from now on will actually appear in our game. Below, I'll put the photos I took of the images that are now appearing on my loading screen. Thank you very much DTG team (especially DTG Natster and DTG Jamie, administrators of this contest) for listening to us and acting with attention and promptness in solving this major issue related to this contest. Note: The last two images, corresponding to weeks 20 and 22 of this contest, already appeared on the game's loading screen.
