And yet this is still a thing Screenshot_20210625-181942_YouTube.jpg
Don't get me wrong, it's not a huge deal breaker or anything as bad as the BR112 model in HHL... but it really gives the impression that the rolling stock was not done to the highest of standards.

Still, the work they have done over the last few weeks is appreciated. Shame for the lack of correct rolling stock (again).

Can't wait for tonight's stream, fingers crossed the dynamic brakes work correctly.

They technically did go back and revise it.

Good, I also noticed they removed the window from the AC4400 cab door, that's great, I was just too impatient and didn't check some details.

I am happy to stand corrected on this issue and watching some older screenshots the new models look better... still not convinced about the writing but it's better than before. That raised my expectation for the steam a bit.

Not to mention the SD40-2s still have the road numbers from the SD40Ns. Not to criticized, but just pointing that out.

On the SD40, however, the logo still overlaps the lightning stripe.

OTOH, there are two slightly-different color covered hoppers for visual variety, both nicely weathered (the old Sand Patch ones were too uniform and too clean)

If UP signed off and approved the livery as designed as part of the licensing agreement, Skyhook may be limited in how much they can actually change the design at this point without having to go back to the license holder for another round of approvals.

    Look, new wagon:
    New Covered Hopper 2.PNG
Also, this route only comes with 21 services. The least of any TSW2 out there. 15 for the AC4400CW and just 6 for the SD40-2.

They also fixed the railings, they are now proper UP railings not CSX. Unfortunately they still have East Coast reflector stripes.

JD caught himself as he started to say released in a couple of weeks - he got most of the sentence out so its not far away unless something goes wrong.

Well, we'll know on Tuesday, if the route is bumped up to Next Arrivals in the roadmap.

The release pattern we seem to be seeing for TSW2 routes is one from DTG in every even-numbered month, usually in the first week, and 3rd-party routes, if any, in the odd-numbered months. So HMA in October, LGV in December, SEHS in February, Clinchfield in April, Cathcart in June, (presumably) Rush Hour in August. Meanwhile, Isle of Wight in late October, Arosa in March, and almost certainly Cane Creek in July.

(The oddball is Hamburg-Lubeck, released in May)

It is in next arrivals already on the last road map. But that means nothing since nothing else is being released until Rush Hour is released except Cane Creek and there are no more Road Maps until Rush Hour has been released Next Arrival just means arriving before Rush Hour is released. We may not get it until the end of July and it still will be out before the next Road Map. Since all the roadmap streams are Rush Hour streams until after RH is released.

We'll know soon enough. SteamDB still has it as "coming soon" https://steamdb.info/app/1418844/ - we'll see where it goes.

Interesting observation about the timings solicitr well done you!

DTG are hugely variable from when a DLC gets added to Steam and when it gets released:
    • Cathcart 17 days from first appearing in SteamDB to release
    • Hamburg Lubech 7 days from first appearing to release
    • CCR 211 days from first appearing to release (originally known as DLC 40)
    • SEHS 149 days from first appearing to release

Rush Hour is there already too https://steamdb.info/app/1490114/ and that is not weeks away ;).

It also features 12 scenarios which is the most of any TSW2 route out there.

Perhaps the airhoses that are hanging underneath the locomotive.

It's quicker to list what's right with it.

The cab, everything else is wrong.

Exterior Model is wrong (headlight position, what seems like pipes or coupling related objects in floating on the underside of the model near the track)

It is used on freight service (not prototypical)

Physics is simplistic and mediocre at best, both in acceleration and especially braking

    Indipendent Brake does not work

PIS Screen is still not right (there is a space that doesn't exist in real life and sometimes the text is cut out).

Sound is reused from the BR143, which was decent when RSN released in 2018, now mediocre, and got broken when ported over to Pres.Co.

What's with the PTC antenna's the are removed from the SD40-2, but when the camera moves away, there is still a marking visible in the textures. It's on both sides of the cab, did the forget to change al lod models?
