Cathcart Circle Line Ufo

To unlock the UFO, you have to complete all mastery challenge on Cathcart Circle Line, but I am struggling with the ‘Complete a Scenario or Timetable after reaching 70mph’. How can you get to 70mph on this route? Any ideas?

 

to unlock the mastery you have to break the speed limit (which i personally don't agree with as a challenge but it's just a one and done thing)

drive a service from neilston to glasgow. there's over three miles between neilston and the 1st station at patterton, most of which is a 1% decline in gradient.

drive this stretch until you reach 70mph, then once you've achieved that slow back to 55mph and complete the service.

you'll still achieve gold medal for the service if you complete it as normal (ie stop accurately and stick to limits after you've done the 70mph thing)

If you go from Shields Road Depot - Glasgow Central (or the other way) it is possible to do this without speeding.
