i like to point out that Tehachapi Pass ac4400cw window wiper nobs don't turn on wipers both simple & expert controls.
the lever icon on hud also doesn't move in simple control on Tehachapi Pass ac4400cw.

I have found that the brakes on the BNSF ES44DC do not work very well. I found it very hard to stop or slow the train. Once I am able to get the train stopped on the inclines with the train and loco brakes set to full they do not hold the train in place it just starts to rolling backwards.

Then when using a mix of the dynamic and train brakes going downhill do not keep the train under control.

    Hi,
I think that both the AC4400 and the SD70Ace front and rear headlights need sorting out. The SD70Ace rear headlight cant be turned off. The light switches are screwed up. Up close on the lights seem fine but you zoom out and they get so bright they wash out the crosswalk areas. All the AI consists with SD70Aces in them all have there headlights on, should only be the lead loco. Also, do the front rear and side crosswalk lights work? Also, the main display screen has the following all showing N/A" effort klb, throttle, UP (loco number i assume?) , rear and flow but I guess like most of the locos coming out now they all only basic info.

Agree with the brakes issue. It´s terrible. No brakes are working (train, dynamic,.....), exept all are at full power, only then the train becomes lightly slower. Impossible to drive downhill, or stop uphill, because the brakes are worse to manage. The only good working brake is the emergency one! By the way - the manual again is a joke - no useful stuff, for example that explains how to brake correctly (if there´s possible)

I got to experience the over speed alerter going into Mojave at just a little over 76 miles per hour, had to pop the emergency brake to stop lost all 1000 point coming down that hill into Mojave. I didn't find the manual all that helpful myself either.

Edit: I did submit a ticket for this issue see what they come up with.

Just wondering, did the BNSF ES44 have the same problems on Hi-Line?

I do not remember having any braking issue on the Hi-Line, from what I remember it was smooth running without any issues. The only thing I can think of is the issue they had is when Tehachapi released.

    onyl? I lost 200.000 points
On Hi-Line I had no problems with this loco. I´m not sure, but the gradients was there not so steep, or?

Braking seems completely broken. Auto brakes start to apply then immediately release. In the "hot box" scenario it's impossible to stop the train on the uphill without rolling back.

I agree that the brakes are completely broken, I have submitted a ticket and hopefully we can see a fix soon. Very frustrating and things like the brakes do not work.

After my heat wave finally died down I have been able to get back into TSW and TS again.

Just had a chance to go back into the Hi-Line and complete a run with the same loco and it worked perfectly had zero issues with the brakes. So it begs the question if it's the same loco why does it behave correctly in one route, but does not behave the same in another route.

Is it the same loco and are they the same wagons?

Yes it is a BNSF loco but unless the locos used are from the same folder they might behave differently
Are they the same wagons - again if they have been made separately they might not have the same physics

A fix for this would probably be to take the Hi-Line physics and copy paste them into the Simulation folder for the TP AC44, unless someone's already tried that.

I tried fudging in an ES44 from another route (not swapping a loco in the scenario, but actually trying to have Tehachapi access an ES44 with perfectly serviceable brakes) , but I'm missing some fundamental understanding of what to copy where.

The issue could be with simulation, so if you copy the ES44 simulation folder of another version (Marias or Hi Line) then paste it so that way you overwrite the original files, it could work. However, I don't own this DLC yet so I can't say as to whether it'd actually work.

This problem is still not fixed. Both "Hot Box" scenarios. DTG, when can we expect a fix?
