Tried something out on the CN Dash 8...... Added the number lights in the correct position above the windscreens but not sure if they look weird with the default ones on the front too?
Rainbow ICE travels across Germany As a sign of support for the LGBTQI + community, Deutsche Bahn sent an ICE with a rainbow stripe on it. It is not about symbolism, "but about attitude, social interaction and concrete living conditions," said railway boss Richard Lutz on Friday. DB wants to set standards with rainbow ICE The abbreviation LGBTQI + stands for lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer, trans and other non-heterosexual people or people who do not identify with the traditional role model of men and women or other social norms relating to gender and sexuality. The freshly covered ICE left on Friday (July 9th, 2021) around noon from Berlin Central Station to Munich. Christopher Street Day is celebrated there on Saturday (July 10th, 2021). "The rainbow branding will remain in place for an indefinite period of time," said Deutsche Bahn.
Well, I bit off more than I could chew with the New Mexico Rail Runner. I'm happy with what I have but because of the layers required on the Rail Runner font, I can't duplicate it on the other side. I'm really hoping for a serif text option with Livery Editor 2.0... in the meantime I think I'll need to sacrifice the font to finish this one. Now on to the coaches...
Thanks. I could put a post in this section of the forum with the techniques I use and others could then add techniques that they use.
Thanks... I use a few rounded squares, circles, oblongs and triangles to create the logo in full and then copy it for the other side and copy and rescale it for the nose and tail.
Yes, and please @ me . I really suck at doing wheatering, I'd like to improve these skills and you look someone who knows exactly the answers to my questions
Yeah in this section but also why not creating a new thread to have more visibility as people won’t take a look at every pages here
Was able to "dumb down" the font so that I could finish the Rail Runner. Also finished the coach. I really need an option to copy layers to other liveries so that I can make the cab car match... something else on my Livery Editor wishlist...
A relatively easy one today I had started a run on Sandpatch this morning but the game crashed after about 70 minutes!!!! (I'd forgotten to do a save at any point) so lost the run. So instead I decided to do this hybrid CP/CN livery on CN #5394 which it carried after transferring from CP to CN. I had seen a photo of it a few days ago. With the general livery being very simple I decided to do the numbers with shapes..... Boy was that number 9 difficult!!!!! (For me anyway). I only have a couple of pictures of the sides so I'm unsure if it carried it's CN number on the tail end so I've put it on anyway. One of the photos also looks like it has had the nose patched up to cover old CP lettering so I've done that too but like i say those two things may not be correct.
I thought I'd do a couple of the NS and CN Heritage liveried ES44ACs for use on Sandpatch..... Here's the first one that's starting to come along nicely NS #8098.
I've made a few adjustments to the Conrail heritage unit..... smaller numbers and smaller Conrail lettering on the nose and some other small alterations.
I've also made a start on another couple of ES44AC heritage units..... NS #8105 in Interstate RR livery......
And finally CN #3115 in BC Rail livery. I've hit the layer limit with this one so I've not been able to add as much as I would have liked and have had to use standard lettering etc.... but I'm going to try and optimise what's on there already to see if I can eek another few layers out.....
So I'm going a little excessive with my fictional railroads https://docs.google.com/document/d/1hFQGgXnmPlLcuEr8brM10de6QE_SCh8tA17rcAKDHJY/edit?usp=drivesdk
I decided to make UP 3300. It was almost impossible to get all the little stars on the nose and I tried best that I could. Also I ran out of layers to do the United Way log on the nose as well.
i don't have this loco or the coaches that come with DB BR 101, how is this mixed consist part of a scenario or timetable ?
