They could implemented into the game Metro North Rolling Stock: locomotives M2 M4 M6 M8 Amtrak Rolling stock: locomotives Acs-64 Acela Avelia liberty M2/M4/M6 Acela Aveila M8 From new haven to grand central terminal operation speed 90 mph (140 kh/h) (Max) Track length: 74 miles (119 km) (Main line) http://web.mta.info/mnr/html/planning/schedules/pdf/NH_MF_JUNE212021.pdf I think this route could work DLC because DTG has already have the licenses for Amtrak for TSW and they have good relationship if DTG could get the license for Metro North for TSW it could be great thing.it gives players a different view and scenery this instead of uk routes,German routes and etc this is what game lacks US routes and high speed routes I think it could great for the game
keeganjohnson3 you are new to these forums , so I’ll be kind , but this is not how suggestions work . You provide information about the route like the length , the stations , the locos included , what time period , and why it would be a good route in TSW , not to go ‘here’s a link , go and have a look then come back here and feedback
I didn't see that at all though in the rules of the forum. A suggestion can be vague but it is recommended that more details are provided.
It’s not a necessary rule , but a suggestion needs to be well thought out and to have a purpose to it
Correct and for this line New Rolling stock is a Classic Train simulator 21 train the Metro-North M8 basically the American version of the German DB BR474.3 & DB BR490 UK 377/2, 377/5 387/1 and high speed train Class 395. Downloadable content should be Metro-North M2,M4 & M6 Third rail 750v 1.2kvDC to overhead wires 11kv 25hz upgraded 12.5kv 25/60hz for the German trains they are 15kv 16.7hz and UK 25kv 50hz US M8 25kv 60hz. If you own boston-providence you get to use Acela Express Avelia Liberty and ACS-64 on Northeast Corridor New York New Haven. I am actually from the region NY/NJ that's how I know the Train on this route. For DTG They can try doing this as NEC Newark, NJ to New Haven, CT 84 miles.
Lets call it an unofficial community rule that generally goes unspoken but is in place to make the forums a more enjoyable place.
indeed, though I'd like it to be an official route. I'm getting kinda tired of all the spammy 'route? I think it would be fun' suggestions. But the most important thing is that it also benefits the creator. If people not familiar with the route don't know what you're actually suggesting, they probably won't support it either, and don't think they'll go out of their way to do the research themselves. It is up to the person suggesting something to convince other forum users (and eventually DTG themselves) the route would be fun, feasible and interesting while appealing to a large section of the playerbase (or even drawing new players in).
On topic, I'd be in favor of this route, though with Boston-Providence coming to TSW2, it seems less likely anytime soon. OTOH, quite a bit of it was already modeled in TSW (not to mention TS20XX), and I'd like to drive the CSX GP40-2 and Amtrak SW1000R again, which could make a return for this route, alongside the Metro North M8 as a new loco. So, yeah, it gets my vote.
