No need to investigate at all, the three routes can be purchased at the same price as usual. Does this still need to be considered?
This isn't asking anything about the price, it's asking when (in relation to the release) people will buy it, if they'll buy it.
I’ll be buying it immediately. Yes I do have a moan from time to time about issues and I will probably moan about issues in Rush Hour, but £24.99 for three relatively long routes and the rolling stock they bring is a no brainer for me. I’m also looking forward to the PS5 version of the game and the core 4.26 update, which is of course, available separately free of charge. Despite the issues I moan about, some of them unforgivable e.g. wrong number of collectables, I still get quite a lot of pleasure from the game.
For me, it's a bunch of interesting routes for the price of one. Yes, this one will be Day 1 purchase. That being said we've heard many times the price won't compromise the quality, so let them be judged as all other routes. And yeah, we will get three to judge at once. Let them be great.
In a sale when it’s cheap if the reports I read on it are positive. It’s good value with 3 routes but only the BML UK route really interests me tbh and I have lots other routes which I own which I haven’t had the time to fully play yet so I’ve more than enough to occupy me whilst I wait.
Having played Riesa - Dresden and London - Brighton in TS2021 and thoroughly enjoying said routes. I cannot wait to get Rush Hour, especially if they're as busy as articles are making them out to be! NEC should be good too, I liked the ACS-64 but bugs in the safety systems on TSW2020 did let it down.
Your list of response options does not include mine: I will not be buying it ever because passenger operations do not interest me.
Agreed, same here. By far the most excited I've ever been for a TSW route. The format of RH excites me too further on top of the interesting routes (will be playing all three routes thoroughly), I hope it lives up to what has been described already.
I’ll pre order it if there is a discount, otherwise I’ll wait until I feel the need for something new to play. If Riesa Dresden isn’t any good then I won’t buy it at all. It’s the only one of the three I’m interested in.
It's my local route so massively excited. After this I doubt I'll get any more DLC. This is the pinnacle for me aha
Nothing of interest to me I'm afraid. I only buy UK routes and I'm not interested in yet another modern third rail electric route set in the south of England.
Indeed, though a WCW or Arun Valley Line would be nice to complement in the future with BML forming the focus of future routes, but yes BML will keep me going for ages though... especially if any DLCs on top of that come out too!
Being someone who is not overly concerned about the exact sound of the horn or the colour of the gravel, I am currently planning on buying it on day one. However, I will watch the preview streams carefully and make a final decision then.
Well at least those of who wait can spend time reading the technical page so the people who buy it the second it's released can tell use what's wrong with these 3 new routes and possibly help us save are hard earned 30.00 until later.Somebody has to be frist...Goodluck to all.
Given the latest ‘Season Ticket’ announcement. There is no point in me buying it until Riesa Dresden comes out as that’s the only route I want. So now I’ll just wait and probably just buy that route.
Anyone else thinking about Changing Vote away from 'As soon as it comes out' following the season ticket thing?
Nope will not change my mind being that I am on PC and get everything from Steam, it will stand as getting it once out.
Now am unlikely to buy any of them until and unless both Boston and Brighton have been released and are well reviewed, then might buy the bundle (and delete Dresden, which with the chopping of the branch lines has gone from "most anticipated" to "definite no buy"). But by that token, I could just wait a bit longer to pick them up on Steam sale for the same $20 each.
Hold on from what i just read in the tsw news page each route is 30.00 if bought separately? So it also sound like it's 40.00 if bought all 3 together,is this right? So now the big 3 for 30.00 deal has been scraped? Then what's 50%off in the news article referring to?I don't understand dtg business model anymore. Now there charging full price for pre broken dlc routes well at least there consists with one thing.
3 routes bought speratly are $90 if you buy the ticket pass its $40 making it less than $13.4 per route it makes the routes les than 50% cheaper if boought in the bundle
Following yesterday’s announcement, I’m unlikely to buy this until the Brighton line is released. I worry that it will be pants and they already have my money. That’s the route I’m most interested in, particularly now that Dresden is going to be boring. Whether I buy it all depends a lot on NEC.
While I agree yesterday's news was somewhat a downer, it does make me wonder with BML now being last in the release schedule due to the amount of complex services involved? I hope the extra bit of development time means the route will be even better, but who knows. Fingers crossed.
With the way dtg "New Experiments" have tended to work out should anyone who buys a season ticket be nervous that when as the three new routes become available the game won't recognize your season ticket purchase and so you won't be able to download your prepaid dlc.Don't think it can't happen, some of us know how dtg doesn't fully test there work.Just look at there other new experiment diesel legends of the great western(senario pack)that was a bearly fully tested mess to.
Though I’m annoyed (you probably know why) I’ll buy it, I need the BML and NEC. Luckily for me I never wanted BRD
I’m planning on getting all 3 routes (via Season Ticket) despite the backlash regarding the portion of line being removed on the Riesa - Dresden route.
Given that I l’ll absolutely be buying the NEC route, I’ll buy the season ticket upfront, £10 for 2 other new routes is a pretty good price, while I’m not really interested in the German line, ill give it a go because it’ll be nice to use the 101 on another route, and I’m definitely excited for the BML.
