I have loaded the initial cut of hoppers and am told to stop at location with these cars, problem is there are other cars already on this siding so cannot get to the location. I have checked the schedule and I have not missed any step, like move these cars. Have attached a screen grab which shows both the schedule and ;looking back from the last car in the cut at the cars already there as well as the marker to stop at. bandicam 2021-04-11 13-29-38-149.jpg

I finally went back and completed this scenario and have to thank suggestions from the group but also my Rail Driver which made all the difference in controlling the F7.

Good to hear. I'm to the point where I would have a hard time using the keyboard to drive trains. My RD is working well on Cane Creek too. Only the Preserved Collection locos are missing, let's hope not for long.

Raildriver does make a huge difference in lots of circumstances Sharon E and Crosstie - I too miss it on the older stuff. I'm hoping at least some of them will come with the big update.

I am not into the 'immersion' idea. What I wanted from Rail Driver was ease of operation and that is what it gives. Operating the lap brakes of the F7 is so much easier with the Rail Driver then attempting it on the keyboard. I always seemed to get the brake into emergency with the keyboard and not once did that with Rail Driver, except if I wanted to do it.

A plant of joy and fun will grow and you will look back to yourself in old keyboard times thinking "why did I wait so long? ...

It is certainly not “immersive” but driving got much easier for me when I invested in a gaming mouse where I could use pairs of buttons for throttle, train brakes, and dynamic brakes or AFB depending on what I am driving. Middle button as PZB acknowledge/ Q is also helpful.

No worse than using a xbox or playstation controller.

One of the big things for me is that using the Rail Driver has stopped the "wrong finger" issues with throttle and brake on trains with the unified control. Can't count the number of times I have applied power when wanted to brake or the other way. Have not done it once with the controller.

Been there and done that a number of times myself, it can be frustrating at the best of times.

I agree, the other game changer is I don't have sore hands and wrists from thousands of key presses during a game.
