for Cathcart Circle Line: Glasgow - Newton & Neilston Route Add-On The Class 314 is not in service anymore since 2019. As an update to bring the addon up to date to have the Class 314 and the 385 together like it was in 2018 - 2019.
The route is set in 2014, the 385s entered in passenger use in 2018. Wont be seeing the 385s for the route
Why do people say "oh it's got to be made up to date". The routes fine as it is. And based on the wording of the suggestion you want them just to add the 385 to route? Not happening. Plus the 385 is much better suited to E-G. It doesn't do all that much here.
So let me get this straight, you want a Class 385 on a route set in 2014 when the 385s came into service in 2018? I’m speechless to be honest
Well, you yourself have mentioned there's no difference between the route in 2014 and 2018. So you're saying it's set in 2014... but that it looked the same later... so why can't we say it's set in 2018?
Because it isn't. Plus there is no point changing the era for a train that wouldn't do all that much on this route. It's more suited for another route.
It does not say in the description at the store that it is a historical route. So feel free to add the railcar as an update. Both can remain there to be able to illustrate the generation change. Because the development of an addon takes a long time, you can't take an exact time of the state of construction, but a time span so 2018-2020.
Right, so you want this as an "update" i.e. added to the route for free, as that's what updates are: free additions. Not gonna happen. Also, in general; The Class 385 didn't enter service on the circle until February 2019. The Class 314 by that time was a minority train on the route, behind the 320/380. At this time they mostly ran the Inverclyde & Paisley Canal Lines. So the 385 would make the 314 - a train that spent years primarily operating this route - a minority loco. I personally would hate this.
This is finally a better argument I'd say. I am not super familiar with the route, so saying it's set in 2014... but looked nearly identical in 2018... seems weird to me. But this makes sense - if they didn't meet on the route a whole lot, it would be better to choose a different EMU.
The Class 385 is a Japanese commutertrain built by hitachi (AT200) Hitachi A-train - Wikipedia is in service in Europe and is because of that unique. I would like to see it as an addon. Also I would also like to see the Class 800 family in TSW 2.
The 800s would be good, but make a seperate suggestion. The 385 - like I said - would hardly do anything on this route - and I think it would be a really terrible decision to make it a Cathcart DLC. If it layered in from another route? great! - Cathcart DLC? No.
Well we do have the 422 running on ska which it doesn't in reality. We also have the class 101 on the Legends of the Great Western DLC when the 101 hardly ran on that route in that time period. The 117s did dtg doing things unrealistically is not new. Personally the Class 380 would be better since they do run on this route in the time period
I'm pretty sure thinks like 101s ran on the GWE, even if at a different period of time. Plus, the 385 didn't even exist when GCC is set. And it hardly sees much service on the Circle Lines.
Yeah well at least they existed. Plus as I say, the 385 doesn't do much on the circle anyway, and frankly the 314 was nearly the only train on the route at this time, with the 380 only operating a few peak services, and the 320/318 being elsewhere, and the 385 not well, existing...
Correct and for Class 385 you will be doing peak trips from Maxwell Park to Glasgow Central and back there
Be better getting the Class 380. This would probably come with a different route and layer on seperatly
