Would be awesome sometime in the future the Amtrak toaster becomes a loco dlc. I know alot of American rail fans would buy it. Yes I know they are no longer in service. Jesus christ

It would be cool to see the legendary Toaster in TSW, but it would be unrealistic to see a Toaster running alongside ACS-64s and F40PH-3s, so they would have to make a separate timetable for it, kinda like Diesel Legends. The NEC: BP route is set around 2019, the ACS-64s entered service around 2014-2015, and around 2017 MBTA started their rebuild program for the F40s, so the timetable would have to replace the ACS-64s with AEM-7s, and they would have to convert the F40-3s to F40-2s in order to reach maximum realism.

Completely Unrealistic for Boston-Providence because Amtrak retired them in 2016. Solution is NEC Boston Providence legends pack with AEM-7 HHP-8 135mph 220 km/h capable locomotive and Acela Express. HSP-46 & Avelia Liberty can be sold as 2021 Pack.

I know it wouldn't be realistic. I'm not retarded. I know the AEM-7s are no longer in service

Unless you want a semi-modern era just for the AEM-7s (somewhere in the 2000s for the Providence Line), which would feel a lot more empty with just one loco (or 2, if including the HHP-8 in there) for a separate timetable, especially without the represented MBTA equipments for this kind of era.
