hello everyone as you know the free TSW2 update is coming out soon and so I'm thinking will the new Traxx sounds be present for traxx ?!
TrainSim-Adam has mentioned in the roadmap streams that the sounds on the MSB locos has been worked on.
Hey Everyone, I can confirm there are no 'new' sounds being used for the locomotives that come with Main-Spessart Bahn. My team has only been working with the sounds that already exist. However, feedback from our testers and beta group indicate that things have not improved enough, so we will be continuing to work with them on adjustments to the audio, beyond the MSB update that is coming out with the release of TSW2:Rush Hour.
Thanks for the answer! Does that mean the sounds won't change at all on the rush hour release? Or will we get the "have not improved enough"-version of the sounds? It's really sad, I didn't drive the 146 since the release of TSW2, because the sounds are that bad. I really would love to enjoy this beautful loco again
When Sound of Loks is too bad download from trainworks.eu .Sounds are for All MSB and RSN Lokomotives
That's a good point - what about the 146 from Dresden-Riesa? Will it have the same sound as the "current" 146 from MSB?
Yes. It was confirmed some time ago that the preserved trains will be used - upgraded as necessary (new PIS etc). It‘s possible that they‘ll have gotten some additional attention (I believe Maik Goltz said that he worked a little bit on Br 146 sounds which haven‘t been released yet), but I‘d expect them to have the same quality.
Thanks for the update Adam. The sounds have to at least be similar to how they sounded in TSW 2020 for me to be happy with them. Hopefully it won’t take long to achieve that. But, don’t forget, the sound of the M3/M7 on LIRR also fell way short of expectations (the M7 in particular) so that’ll need to be reworked ASAP too.
Let Maik Goltz make all German Sounds and you Paid him for it. Because DTG made terrible sounds like the Traxx Models and the 112/143 also awful. Same with the 182 sounds and the Dostos
DB628 please stop this. Your dream wishes all the time over the forums are just naive. Come back to mother earth and learn how the world really works....
If in order to play some routes without breaking my eardrums I have to do it with an outdated version from two and a half years ago, something is being done wrong.
Many improvements are stuck in a testing bottleneck because of Rush Hour, so don't blame Adam and his team
Yes but only until you are faster than 30 km/h, when the scale stops and the old vacuum cleaner sounds are kicking in. Only the sounds for lower speeds (scale at departure) are getting improoved with the mods from trainkworks, not the running sound in general. The best traxx to drive currently is the 185.5, as this loco doenst seem to have taken as much damage as the others soundwise when they were ported over.
