Where Are The Sets?

Hello developers, I want to know why there are fewer packs on the Epic Games platform than on the Steam platform?

 

Because not all content for the game has been updated to the newer version of the unreal engine (4.26) which powers the game.
More DLC will be added over time once it has been upgraded to unreal engine version 4.26 (all other platforms are still running unreal version 4.23).

 

If so, is it safe for me to purchase one of the available bundles on the Epic Game platform?

 

Yes, of course it is if you are planning on continuing to use Epic to play the game.
Everything will be updated at some point to the newer version and more DLC will become available.

You can't move DLC etc between steam and epic though as they are not compatible.

I also wanted to ask if train simulator 2021 will be handed out on the Epic Game Store?

 

Don't know, but it's debatable. TSW2 is built on an Epic engine whereas TS1 is not, also TS1 is several years old (and out of date in many ways)

One more question, will you do DLC with Russian trains like 2TE10M and others?

 

You can always suggest routes and DLC on these forums (there's an entire suggestions for such), but remember that to make russian trains work they would need to create the signalling system, track system, make specific buildings, houses, factories etc etc so it's not as easy as "make something russian"... they already have a lot of assets for the UK, Germany and US and probably none for much of Russia

 

Yes, on account of this, I am in the know, I think that our old team will be able to somehow convert the existing models from TS2021 to TSW2

 

Please bare in mind the frequency of Epic sales may (I don’t know for sure) may be less than Steam
