Every time I save and try to come back my train allways has some random error, I can usually reset it but turning the power off and back on seems like a bug or something but I have no erros just -1 power

It is a problem with the game itself when using save-load. Bugs.

I honestly can't remember when it was last on the Roadmap if it ever was, but I haven't seen it recently. The problem is, it works fine for some people but not for others, so it's "a riddle wrapped in a mystery inside an enigma" (Winston Churchill). It might be that DTG can't reproduce it, so are unable to fix it.

It is best to complete each services or scenario in one go without ever using the save function, as it is flaky at best.

If you can. I usually don't have the time frame or, frankly, the attention span to complete a 2 hour plus SPG or CRR service in one go ( not to mention a wife with enough patience to let me do it without finding a chore or two). Fortunately, the save and resume function works flawlessly for me, but I'm probably in the minority and don't want to be smug about it. Didn't Protagonist once say that the average play session was about half an hour. So, it must be working for quite a few people. It would be good if one of the moderators could come on the thread and explain why the save function is so unpredictable..... If they know.

It worked for awhile as long as I was stopped but it seemed this time it failed, I restarted the scenario but my job requires me to always be ready to go, I had to save again and this time the train just doesn't move no matter what, I was really enjoying the game but this will be a big bummer. :(

Yes, I see how frustrating it is. I don't have a solution but I will say this. When I'm running a service or scenario, I save about every 10 minutes. If I have to quit the game, I never actually quit from the save menu. When I come back, I'm usually no more than a few minutes adrift of where I was.
Or maybe just pray to the Sun god. Nobody really knows. Good luck. :)

I always stop the train before I save the game. But it looks like a pure RND.
Do it on stations. The train usually stops there (not in Poland, not always!) :D

It looks like your train has no power, have you tried raising the pantograph and closing the MCB? Release parking brake, just to be sure :) But it also looks like the second unit got lost, it does not show up in the display, so you might need to uncouple and re-couple it - in short, just restart the run, the runs on SKA are not that long fortunately. Save games are just a buggy mess.

Just to provide an alternate experience to this thread so far, I frequently save TSW2 scenarios and sessions and later resume them, and I have never had a single problem of any kind as a result of doing so.

When I get called away to a chore and will be a while, I don't save - I pause the game and put the PC to sleep. Seems to work fine. If I'll only be gone a few minutes I just pause the game.

This may happen. What you can try:

    - Throttle to Off
    - reverser neutral
    - Master key off
    - Stand up and sit down again
    - Master key on
    - Reverser forward
    - Drive away
Possibly you can skip one or more of these steps. You are not doing anything wrong, but apparently it is very hard to get the game save working 100%. I can imagine that because you need to save the full state of all settings and also the hidden stuff in the physics. Not forgetting anything seems to be very hard.
