Class 395 Speed Oddity

I recently purchased the South Eastern High speed route add on and have been enjoying the javelin very much.

There is one thing that has been not annoying but getting at me, I have the units set to imperial however in the hud at the top right below the signal aspect it shows the speed changes in kmh whereas imperial is mph. In the in game speedometer it has speed in mph correctly.

I checked when I took a photo few days ago of the BR422 which as a German train usually it would operate in kmh but in the hud its in mph correctly.

I am therefore at a lost as to what is happening?

I am good at kmh to mph conversion so i am able to get the correct speed, it's just a little thing that adds a few seconds on and at 125/140mph you go a long way why working it out

If anybody knows which settings I need to change would be appreciated greatly thank you.

On different note can I just say SEH and also CCL which I have purchased both recently have been the best work that has come out for this game

 

think it's like that maybe as on sehs I'm pretty sure it changes units on the 385 when you get to the tvm section

 

The Class 395 - when on HS1 (TVM Signalled, Ebbsfleet - London) works in KMH, as that is what TVM is set up in, when it goes onto the Traditional lines, it goes back to MPH.

 

I guess then using it off the rails it's in TVM so is why then.

Not sure why the in game hud shows it like that, I was just wondering.

Guess it's an adjustment I'll have to do.
No complaints because the Javelin has instantly become my favourite even over the HST!

TVM also makes this happen in Timetable Mode, scenario, journey etc. Modes well.

 

London to Ebbsfleet is part of the line to France so technically it's a French railway route so as is such uses KMH but after Ebbs towards Gravesend and Faversham it is back to being a British route so it automatically changes back to MPH.
