Yet another time they’ve told us something was going to happen and then went back on it. And i wouldn’t be mad about it being on Thursday instead of Tuesday, it makes a little sense, but what I am mad about is that they told us it was going to happen on Tuesday
Not necessarily a lie, but certainly a last minute decision to ease a problem the community has been highlighting for a while.
Actually Nat did say on the last Rush Hour stream that the update was going to happen on Tuesday, so I consider this another let down by DTG. In my mind I do not think it is such a good idea to release a update that big along side a new route release.
I do wonder why DTG actually try to be open about release dates. All IT projects slip and they would be better off saying it will be here when it gets here. Much like SCS and their DLC releases where we know it is coming but not a date. That would prevent all the infantile tantrums on here and other social media over a 2 day delay.
Thing is, it’s the same people complaining about a 2 day slip, that constantly ask when?, when?, when? Personally, I like that they give us the dates they intend to release. I like the openness of the road map. But I’m quite prepared for things to get delayed or disappear from the roadmap. These things happen. I wouldn’t blame DTG if they went back to keeping us in the dark. Rush Hour has been a tough release for DTG what with the price rise and the Riesa Dresden cut to communicate, but I honestly don’t see the fuss about a 2 day delay. I wish my life was so simple, that my major issue was a video game release!
