Xbox Download Issues?

    On standard xbox one here. Can confirm, uninstall and reinstall all dlc via 'manage game and addons', seems to have done the trick.
    Haven't got season ticket yet so can't comment on that

    I've just tried uninstalling LIRR as a test - uninstalled ok, then when i went to reinstall it just whizzed through the process and installed in a matter of seconds - so it's either not uninstalled correctly or not reinstalled correctly. I'm a bit hesitant to uninstall the whole of TSW2 in case it gives me more problems to fix...

    I waited a few minutes before reinstalling to make sure that it has uninstalled all properly. Perhaps you reinstalled it before it had properly been deleted

    Uninstalling and reinstalling DLCs seems to be working on some but not all.

    is it honestly the end of the world just uninstall and reinstall and spend some time outside or with family there are greater things to do than play this game.

    I don’t think you’re getting the point. Something has clearly gone wrong and rather than try to fix it, it is put upon us, the customers to fix it.

    Besides, as I said I have tried this with Cathcart and nothing has changed. I’m not going to sit here and repeat the process with all the other DLCs if I’m going to get the same result.

    Just tried again and waited a few minutes and still the same issue - shows as updating but then finishes within seconds before there is any progress update

    I've just looked at this again - if I follow Nat's advice it shows as all my add ons as being installed (but aren't showing in the game). When I go to the XBox Store it tells me I own the DLC and gives me the option to install it (showing it as not installed). However when I install it, I don't get a progress check, it just finishes within seconds and doesn't change anything.
    The uninstall/install hasn't worked for me so far. Is there something official or more advice you can provide DTG Natster /DTG? Would you recommend a complete uninstall of TSW2?

    Uninstalling and reinstalling dlc that has been lost has worked for me, I now have all my dlc

    Strange. Perhaps try uninstalling then restarting the xbox. Check storage space before and after uninstall to make sure that it has definitely uninstalled (I gained about 60gb after deletion with 21 dlc). Then reinstall.
    I can't think of why it won't work unless it isn't deleting properly

    Those UE4 logos are what I'm also seeing on my SSD, am hoping that they'll be updated, as some of them appear to have been.

    Even the game tile looked like that for me, both when looking at what was installed, and in the Guide, before reverting to the original look.

    Just re-installed LIRR and it appeared in the route selection menu. I spawned on foot at Jamaica in the snow just before a service arrives and I couldn't tell if improve d passengers were on it. There was definitely a lot more than usual but very few were wearing winter clothing.

    Hopefully just the old hard restart will do the trick (probably not but theirs sometimes light at the end of the tunnel)

    I’m reinstalling all my DLCs. It keeps progress and doesn’t really take that long. Tested it on NTP, GWE, TVL and IoW and they all work now

    Another one to add to the mix, I uninstalled NTP as a test, hard restarted the XBox (power cable out etc), plugged back in, started up again and it showed NTP as being installed still, but not showing in the game menu. I'm even more puzzled now!

    Can I ask how you are going about reinstalling? Is this through the XBox store, or through Nat's suggestion earlier. Neither work for me, so keen to see how others are trying it.

    **Update** We have seen a significant amount of feedback that users who are uninstalling and then reinstalling on Xbox one have success getting their add-ons to work correctly.

    This is not a permanent fix - but is a possible workaround to get you playing again for the time being.
    Please let us know if you continue to experience difficulties.

    Go to your game and apps on Xbox home screen then go to TSW2 press the menu button(the 3 line one) and go to manage games and add ons click on uninstall all, then go to all owned games and find TSW2 and reinstall it should show all dlcs that you own and click select all to install

    How long do you need to wait between uninstalling and then installing as I've tried to do WSR twice and it didn't work. It supposedly installed instantly but didn't show up in TSW2.

    Ok so Boston sprinter doesnt download automatically with rush hour ultimate, you have to go to that route in store and install it manually.

    I seem to have this issue too, where it installs instantly and then doesn't show up. I'm now trying a complete TSW2 uninstall and install again

    Yeah all my DLC's ARE WORKING from just a uninstall and reinstall procedure.

    In my opion the best answer now on what i have seen! The update isn't stable enough to replace the right files. On steam(pc) it works good but on pc its better to manage!

    'Manage game and add-ons' is where I uninstalled them. I don't want to sound patronising, but click uncheck all (then recheck the base game to leave that installed) and then remember to click 'save changes' before you leave the page. I only mention this as it is a step I always seem to forget to do...and it will not uninstall anything if you do not click save changes

    So, on my Series X everything installed correctly. Comparing all the files' info to the last gen versions on the external SSD I suspect some version number inconsistencies are down to the last gen versions all being version numbers for the Durango versions and the new gen numbers being for the Scarlett builds.
    Still stuck in bed with regular dozing off and joint pain too bad to get up and walk, so cannot test installing them on my XBox One yet. We'll see if this feverishness clears before Dovetail figure out what the problem is themselves.

    OK, I’ve bitten the bullet and uninstalled and re-installed everything (including the core program - I ticked “Select All” not realising it would uninstall TSW2 as well as all the DLC).

    I can report that everything is present and (as far as I can tell) correct.

    What has gone wrong at DTG. After all these comments, I am frightened about purchasing a second ticket and won’t install the update until this is sorted. It seems that DTG need more time to work on the product.

    It's taken a while, and a lot of patience, but after uninstalling everything (Base game and DLC) and reinstalling it, everything now works as it should. Nat mentioned this is only a short term fix, is there any indication of what will happen long term?

    Ive been able to redownload a couple of my DLC But i still get an error for These
    Besides LIRR, Rapid Transit and East coastway on this photo. Ive noticed when i go to install them it says updating for 3 seconds and finishes there instead of actually downloading the content.

    The problem might be on Xbox end because it just spends 3 seconds downloading and says installed in the list but when you go to the files itself it says not installed. They might be having issues with their store.
