I have a PS4 Pro, playing on HD setting (frame rate optimized). The frame rate is really rough, I don't want to guess at an FPS number but this route is pretty much unplayable for me at this point.
It completely depends on what's going on in the scene. I play on a PS4 Slim, and while some areas I'll get a stable targetted 30 FPS, sometimes arriving or departing from Boston nets me an average of 20 FPS or lower, especially with all the hustle and bustle going on. Personally it's still bearable in my opinion, but might not be for others.
Dont think is bearable for me...i saw one poor soul playing on youtube and his game was 10/15 FPS and was like slow motion... Hope things get sorted...but would not hold my breath... HOW in the world can a company release such DLC in these state for a consumer just BLOWS my mind...
[ That's actually quite true. When I posted earlier I was actually pulling out of the Boston station, there were two other trains onscreen and the frame rate was brutal. By the time I reached the next stop, those trains were out of view and the frame rate was okay. Not terrific, but stable.
On PS4 pro it works well. There are no serious performance issues I have seen, nothing worse than usual anyway, and considering this route has significantly more AI trains coming and going at the same time compared to any other TSW route, and more passengers that is no mean feat so hats off to DTG for managing to do it without any serious fall in quality compared to previous routes. The 5 times more passengers on PS4 is instantly noticeable and a bit of a game changer, I'm happy to stick with PS4 for now if the other routes turns out the same.
