I have this issue as well. Submitted data to Unreal, but not sure if this is useful. It happened once during gameplay, else during exit of the activity. I played mostly Boston Sprinter.
Add me on the list for every scenario play thru and every exit!! This is not fun at all!!! No mods or enhancements!!! My PC: i9-9900K, Windows 10 Pro 64 (Ver 21H1), 2080ti (Nvidia 471.68), Samsung 970 Pro 512gb, 32gbs of RAM Already submitted ticket, waiting for there reply. Never had any issues before Rush Hour.
Had a crash at exit and today during Boston route play. Submitted to Steam a refund request, then rejected. Submitted a ticket with UE4 crash report and DxDiag system specs. A mess like this rarly seen. Disgusted.
Same issue here, only happened to me on exit. Not every time, but most times. Running a Ryzen 7 5800X, GeForce 3060ti (latest drivers), 32GB RAM and Win10 21H1 with all the updates.
For more details, i crash if i select "exit button". But if i (we) select Main Menu and not Exit when exit a play, there is no crash . For me alternative is using Main Menu for exit game.
Hello.. I also have this message on exit every time I have gone through a task. 32 Go Ram GTX 1060 6 Go
Curious why you would ask for a refund for a game that is perfectly playable but crashes on exit when you're leaving the game anyway?
Something like that it was running perfectly okay to then, or just my luck was running out and it was only a matter of time. But so far it only did it once yesterday as played two separate times yesterday. Guess I am now a member of the crash club.
As Paul has pointed out there is absolutely nothing wrong with the game it's perfectly playable, they will have a fix for this soon.
The game started crashing even during gameplay. I asked refund because 39.99 euros is too much for a botched release like this. I checked the integrity of fs with sfc /scannow after crashes and noticed some corruption in files. The software is bugged and this is not the way customer need to be treated.
File corruption is typicaly cause of a bad download or computer health. Steam offer to check game consitency, if it is not ok, reinstall TSW.
I uninstalled the game, removed all folders in the sdd, and also in the /My Documents/My Games. Then reinstalled. Crashed again. DTG answered that my specs are slightly lower their expectations, my HDMI sound driver is outdated (unfortunately it is provided by AMD through Adrenalin software). So, no game, no refund. I added a screenshot of my pc health status: before rush hour installation and after. The single failure earlier is due to an UEFI change made by me during substitution of boot ssd.
I watched the stream tonight and sam said they thought it was when people exit from a pause screen. Mine crashes almost every time, no matter how I quit the game. However apart from one instance yesterday where it crashed in game on SFJ route, I don't see it as a major inconvenience.
I have crashed without using Exit button in pause game, it was after playing EC. I notice at his time crash are affected to Preserved routes, don't crash for TSW2 routes. I will process to more test if it can help to solving this problem.
You mentioned you found corruption with sfc /scannow - that's not the game or steam, that's problems with your computer and its windows installation which could be caused by several things bad windows update corrupted storage malware If your specs are lower than that required by the game then I would expect issues. If you want an idea of how your machine is performing I use https://www.userbenchmark.com/ - I have nothing to do with them, its just a good tool. Make sure your computer itself is healthy - nothing can help you if its not. Once you're sure its good then visit Steam and use this procedure to verify your game files https://help.steampowered.com/en/faqs/view/0C48-FCBD-DA71-93EB Paul
