Hello folks, We have two Nahverkehr Dresden streams for you this week (Tuesday and Thursday at 19:00 UTC), and we'd love to answer questions you have about the route over the course of the two streams. Please post your questions below and we'll answer as many as we can!
1. How many driveable services are there on the route and will the 406 ICE and 101 service layers be present on last gen consoles? 2. What is the service pattern like?
Are any of the sounds new? If they are reused, can we expect the same quality as in the rush hour core update or has there been additional work done? Can you drive in night/sunset as a new "atmospheric" lighting as well as reflective signage has been mentioned in an article?
Will the train all geht there Linenumber and Ther real Destinations on Destinationscreen (RE 50 Leipzig Hbf)?
No put downs but I’m ready for huge disappointment after what happened last week is rubbing off on me
Will services for 363 and 185.5 interact with each other? E.g. a 363 forming a consist and 185.5 taking it away/bringing in a new one. While 363 on RSN has a couple of interactions, 204 on MSB (albeit developed by a 3rd party) had none and just "played in the dock area" a bit. It would be great to follow more of the RSN example where you could see the consists come in and leave throughout the day.
Is tonight’s run going to be on the fast lines or commuter lines? Could you get Matt to show the total number of services on the route with all layers active?
Will the route have "Ghost Stations" so that the PIS of the Trains will show the correct End Station and Numbers ? S1 Schöna -Meißen Triebischtal, S2 Pirna-Dresden Flughafen, RE50 Dresden Hauptbahnhof-Leipzig Hauptbahnhof
Will the new night-lighting (and more generally the new features that are on certain Rush Hour routes; i.e. Boston's Winter upgrade) and such be added to all routes down the line, or is it planned to just remain local to the selected routes?
1.Can you take a look at each services of each train? (so how many there are) 2. Will we be able to drive the Br185.2, Br155, Br112 and Br182 (DB and MRCE)?
Hello folks, this is a short list of things I would like to see/hear in the steam later today: 1. A short segment showing the line numbers working on the BR 146.2 across different services as well as on other trains if that functionality has been brought to those aswell. If it hasn't, a short explenation as to why not would be nice. 2. An explanation for how the line numbers can now be shown on the latest version of the PIS where the destination can be set by the player. Does it use a similar system as on the BR 406 or is it completely new? 3. A short segment where the platform departure boards are shown, provided they are functional in this build. One thing of interest in particular is if the off-map intermediate stations tech developed by the Preservation Crew for East Coastway and Rapid Transit has been implemented on this route. Again, if this is not the case, we would appreciate an explenation.
I hope the answer is yes, but I have a feeling that might not be possible. We'll see what they say in the stream.
All trains made for Train Sim World after August 20th, 2020,are livery designer capable, even if the Loco in the route is featured in a Preserved Collection route (this is different to layers. This is locos included by standard)
The ICE's should (according to the real life TT), only stop at Dresden HBF, Dresden Neustadt and Riesa.
Yikes, I wouldn't have done the stream from such a low spec PC. People are going to get a really bad impression.
Now that the tech is in place to be able to change the destinations with the new, route dependent PIS system, will it be ported back to older trains to use (Class 395, Class 465, Class 314 and all other applicable trains)? Also, while I understand you may not be able to say, but is some of the features on Riesa - Dresden going to be on the Brighton Mainline as well (such as the different coloured ballast, reflective signs and new lighting)?
I do not own the 101. On the steam store it states I need the Rhein Ruhr route to use them. Is this still going to be the case or can I now buy only the 101?
Ah darn…. So it’s now become a £50 route to use all layers . I also wonder whether the upcoming 363 will add layers to existing German routes or if I’ll need to buy that too
