There was told in the first BRD stream, that the MSB 146 hasn't got any updates. That's why I'm suggesting, that the "old" 146 can be fully replaced with new 146. At least for SKA, HMA, RRO and HRR, which contain 146 layers. It just need to contain all FIS destinations that were included in MSB 146.
As long as there are no livery complications, I wholeheartedly agree with this. Surely it’d make life easier for DTG too - not having to duplicate work, or having half of the rolling stock in game perform sub par.
Really excellent idea what's going to happen is this going to get the proper route number and Destination on DB BR146.2. Example is RRO RE7 Münster towards Hagen from Wuppertal Hbf but if you actually start in Hagen RE7 Krefeld towards Wuppertal Hbf. another example on Rhein-Ruhr Osten with Riesa-Dresden DB BR146.2 is RE4 Dortmund towards Hagen since you actually start the service at Wuppertal Hbf but to Wuppertal Hbf from Hagen RE4 Aachen Hbf. On Main Spessart Bahn you have RB54/RE55 Würzburg or Bamberg Towards Gemünden from Frankfurt Am Main via Aschaffenburg westbound Direction towards Frankfurt Am Main via Aschaffenburg from Gemünden it's RE55/RB54 Frankfurt/M Hbf. Schnellfahrstrecke Köln-Aachen & Hauptstrecke Rhein-Ruhr RE1 Hamm towards Köln & Bochum from Aachen & Duisburg but on the opposite side from Bochum & Köln Hbf it's RE1 Aachen.
They can’t replace which version is used in the layers on other routes as that would take those layers away from players who have MSB but don’t get BRD. If they did update those or replaced the MSB model with the BRD model within MSB that may also require all routes and all layers to be fully tested again to see if they all still work with the new 146. I can’t see that happening. The MSB 146 has just been updated by Adam’s team and is better than it was previously.
