Of all of the requests and suggestions I've read here over the years, I've never seen anyone say that they wanted the 1.8 miles to Reigate. So here goes. My mate moved there for 6 months, said it was pretty grim, but it would make an excellent addition to the already virtually complete Southern Region that has no annoying gaps in it.
Danny has merged the South London and London-Brighton routes in the Workshop. A branch to Reigate is included in it. https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=341200017 The original PDL, Woking-Portsmouth route has many unfinished lines, (track and basic topography) on the 2d map including the North Downs line from Redhill to Guildford via Reigate. This would be a good route to make as it is very scenic with the North Downs as a backdrop. I used it to make a backdated 1950/60s version.
Yep. I'm starting to think my thing for wanting progress and new experiences might be fairly rare. Think of all the routes and missing gaps in the NSE area that Rivet/DTG could have done. Am I the only one who felt sorry for the poor s0d in Marketing who had to "big up" this release?

And this suggestion was made in July, BML released for Train Sim World 2 (it's not Train Simulator 2) this month. Also, Reigate is now also in TS with Rivet's Reigate extension. Finally, people still play TS over TSW, down to preference. Because you play TSW doesn't mean they will.
