GTX 1650 don't know what framerate I get as I really don't care as long as it runs smooth and looks good that all I care, never been one for getting all anal about fps I just want to play games not sit around fiddling for hours just to get an extra fps here or there.

Haha, I think ignorance truly is bliss when it comes to this. Before I knew anything about fps, all my games looked good enough to play. When I started turning it on, even though I was playing at the same frame rates, if they weren't where I wanted them I felt like the game was running too slow

    I'm on a Dell Inspiron 7591 laptop.....

    i7-9750H
    16gb RAM
    Nvidia GTX 1650

If using the laptop screen it's run at 1920x1080 on ultra settings with approx 40-50fps (Capped at 50fps).... I also have an external monitor I usually use which means I'm then running at 2560x1440 still on ultra settings with approx 25-50fps depending on route and location along route.

I have a 3070 and get a minimum of 60fps with mostly sitting over 90fps.
I did have a 1070TI which would get a minimum of 30fps and mostly sitting around 40fps.

Note if you're aiming for going over 60fps make sure your monitor can actually do it (plenty, if not most are restricted to 60fps) and if you can get one with either Software Gsync or hardware Gsync (more expensive).

Laptop with rtx2060/i5-9300H here, 30-70fps with high/ultra mix.
Playing around with .ini tweaks, trying to find what works to reduce pop-in an stutters, not finding anything really working like I want yet.

Using ThrottleStop to limit/tweak my cpu, to avoid thermal throttling really helped stabilize performance.

I upgraded from a 1080 TI and a Asus Rog swift 2k Monitor. I have the 3060 Ti now and the Gigabyte M28U which can do 4k at 144hz. It seems good, better than what I had. The game seems more stable and with more definition as you would expect. I'm still after decent settings for it but am pleased.

    Own build PC.
    Case: Meshify 2 Compact
Asus X750-F ROG Strix Gaming motherboard.
    AMD Ryzen 5600X CPU.
Asus ROG Strix GeForce RTX 3070 Ti 8Gb OC Edition GPU. (516.59 driver)
    32Mb RAM DDR4 3200Mhz.
Asus VG289Q 4K UHD HDR monitor
TSW2 is on my Western Digital Black 500Gb M2 drive.

    TSW settings
    Screen 3840 × 2160
    Anti Aliasing TAA
    Windows Mode Full SCreen
    V-sync Off
    Screen Percentage 100%
    Advanced:
    Foliage Quality Ultra
    Shadow Quality Medium
    Effects Quality High
    Post Process Quality Ultra
    View Distance Quality Ultra
    Texture Quality Ultra
    Max. FPS Unlimited
    Motion Blur Off

I achieve an average of 90-100 frames per second in full 4K resolution. The only irritating thing with TSW2 is that it's an unoptimised game, which still leads to screen freezes of less than 0.5 of a second from time to time. Why this still has not yet been addressed by Dovetail is a mystery to me. For many players it must be irritation number one. The screen freezing is certainly not being caused by my system. Setting Shadow Quality to medium seems to more or less resolve the freezing issue.

Ultra graphic settings with TAA anti aliasing & 120% scaling.
    CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 3800XT 8-Core Processor 3.9 GHz
    GPU: Radeon RX 480
    RAM: 16GB

FPS in the mid to high 40's with the occasional drop in FPS - although this happens even if I turn the settings to low

Im happy with it and dont see the need to spend big right now for another 20-30 FPS

I am running with a Vega56 8GB its old but is still pulling its weight. I game at 3200x1800 and have mostly Ultra/High settings and Get 30-60fps.
I have AMD ADaptive Sync enabled and I dont notice the pauses anymore. Game seems really smooth.

    CPU AMD 3900X
    Ram 32 GB

Still running a 1060 with only 3GB VRAM. That means I only get ~30fps in 1080, but I do run Ultra-plus graphics settings with a fair number of .ini tweaks. I'd rather it look good than smooth. I can get smooth in TSC.

I have a very similar system to yours (i7/7700 and GTX1070(8GB), 16GB of RAM). I've locked the framerate at 50, and most of the time it stays there, although it drops to around 30-40 at busiest stations. I have anti-aliasing set to TAA and screen scaling at 125%. I'm also running at 1920x1080 resolution.

    Good afternoon everyone!
I'm assembling a new system, it remains to buy only a monitor, I'm waiting for the MSI 32" Optix MPG321UR-QD to appear on sale.
    System:
    i7-12700K;
MSI GeForce RTX 3070 SUPRIM 8192MB
    G.Skill DDR5 32GB (2x16GB) 6000Mhz Trident Z5
    MSI SPATIUM M480 HS 3D NAND 2TB M.2 SSD

I know that for complete comfort it is necessary to have a PTX3080-3080ti, but now it is very expensive. I will wait for the release of a new line of PTX 4000 cards. I hope that prices on the market will change.
I have a question. Does anyone have experience of such a system in 4K? What kind of performance can I expect? Thank you.

  22. I have a i5 12600kf with a rtx 3070 (evga)

    Not perfect for 4k gaming!

With everything on ultra and screen %150 about 60fps.

A 3060 I doubt would give you what you are looking for.

Whats the point of 4k gaming unless you can run the game at the maximum level of detail.
