Good Evening, With the soon to be released London to Brighton route for rush hour, will the SEHS class 375 & 465 be used or added to the South Eastern side of London Victoria?
Personally, I think there has to be at least some 375 and 465 AI trains - even if just two or three an hour. If BML is going to live up to its full busy potential, would be a shame if half of Victoria remained empty, especially so when the trains already exist to add in.
I’ll be a bit disappointed if we only get half of London Victoria station. If we did then I don’t think we will see AI driven SE trains. I just hope we are able to use every platform of the Southern side and not just 2 or 3 platforms as the approach into London Victoria is one of my favourites.
This is a great idea! I was also thinking about this as I recently came up to Victoria along the BML from Brighton and noticed a 465 hanging around in the sidings which gave me hope dtg could at them as a layer or something to give a bit more diversity! I read somewhere about a 395 rail tour but unsure on source? It would be a shame if we got a station reminiscent of ST pancras on sehs which is always empty!
Why would there be a 395 rail tour? With the Loco rail tours, they are in the livery they were when in daily use. The 395 is a Modern Loco in SE livery.
375s and 465s as Southeastern layers on BML is my most hoped for feature of the route, i want to be able to fully explore a busy Victoria including the SE side. Would be amazing if they let us drive a station or two but thats just a dream
Upon some further research into the subject a 395 did a rail tour of some lines on the south coast to help raise money for the Royal British legion. It was the Javelin that had the rememberance poppy livery! Theres the link it would be a nice touch! https://www.bexhillobserver.net/news/high-speed-poppy-express-spotted-bexhill-station-2121797
