Dresden Riesa Cab Ride

Hi all,

Just wanted to share this cab ride from Dresden to Riesa on Youtube. Its a freight train using the avoiding line that starts from Dresden and goes through Riesa and Leipzig all the way to Halle if you're interested in seeing the whole thing.

The route in TSW looks very true to life. Great work on this one guys.

But having watched the first 10 minutes of it I can see similarities to the tsw version

 

Thanks for this! It is always cool to see the real thing after experiencing it in TSW. Last week, I had a similar experience biking the old Western Maryland viaduct over the SPG main just outside of Meyersdale.

This is where you realize that DTG and the teams have done an excellent job, down to the small details. I love this line, I haven't let go of it since Thursday

Agreed. I love the detail on this route. The variety of services is so much that I've barely scratched the surface. The ICE almost feels uncontrollably fast after lounging around in a 363.

 

Thanks for posting this. I actually ran a freight service from Dresden whilst playing this on the 2nd monitor and attempted to sync them up as best as possible....TSW2's representation is incredibly accurate. Well done on this route DTG

 

Hi all,

Here is another one from Meissen to Dresden HBF and beyond. It runs through the upper lines in Dresden.

Something of a preview for the upcoming patch.

 

I actually made a suggestion (Dresden - Dečin) for the route that cab view shows beyond Dresden, it is truly beautiful and worth watching just as much as the in game section of that cab ride.

 

That would be really nice yeah. Maybe something like ECW and Brighton Main Line for now where they would both use the Dresden station.
