    Hello everyone,

i love the Route from London Victoria to Brighton since a little Addon Pack for Microsoft Train Simulator a couple of Decades a go. The Addon that comes for Train Simulator 20xx was a very beautiful Addon and a suberb Addition for the Game.

Unfortunately, I was never able to drive this route myself in real life because I don't live in the UK.
So, my Question is, whether someone here would like to share their self-made Photos of this beautiful Route to see what may await us in the add-on for TSW 2. Stations, Trains, Traffic, Stationsdetails like Signs or
    Ticket machines...
    ...No matter what

Many thanks in advance to everyone who shares their photos with us...
If i missed a similar Topic please sorry for that...

Thank you for your first Photos. I never knew, what different EMUs and DMU drive on the BML. Its a bit confusing, because i associate the Route with Class 377...ever!! And for now no single 377 is seen on the Pictures. :)
    Thank you..

    What a brilliant thread.

There’s much more variety in rolling stock than I expected.

Southern Driver what is that metal clamp like thing on the track? The photo waiting at the shunt signal.

Thanks for every Photo is sharing with us. Very nice and interesting. I'm happy :)
Here is so much more Space for more Pictures :)
Question: Did the Class 455's (Southern) drive the whole Way from Victoria to Brighton normaly or is that a Service wich ends in Gatwick Airport?
Question2: The Class 700 is that Thameslink, right? (I think Thameslink have always White Trains) Is that a kind of Express Service on the BML or do they stop on all Stations?

455s don’t usually operate south of Purley iirc

    Some great photos here.
Highlights how sanitised the Dovetails screenshots are.

Cracking photos. I wonder if the services operated by the 455s will be missing or run with 377s when the route comes out.

The things at Battersea Pier sidings are wheelstops. They'll drop when the road is set. Very unusual, I believe they couldn't use catch points to protect runaways as the train would end up in the river Thames!

Battersea Pier Sidings have de-railers due to the fact that if a train was depart without the signal being at proceed it would potentially roll quite some distance.

we do operate Class 377s on South London Metro workings and so they should be included.

Yes, that's the Class 700 which are made up of either 8 or 12 cars and are dual-voltage.

On the upcoming London Commuter, if a Thameslink DLC were to be included, you'd see them between the Brighton and East Croydon section of the route and serve nearly every station between these two across a range of different stopping pattern services. If a Class 700 DLC came to TSW 2, it would provide a high amount of interesting gameplay as they also use both the fast and slow lines on BML with a high frequency of services.

however Class 700s are rather complicated beasts and if DTG are struggling with the 313 (especially when a very similar 315 already exists) to make a 700 from scratch would be a very very tall order.

What makes the 700 so different?
