The NYCT: A/C/E/S Lines or 8th Avenue Lines are subway lines in NYC running along 8th Avenue, Fulton Street, and the Rockaways. The route would feature 70 stops, local and express, has two major yards (207th St. Yard & Pitkin Yard) and a smaller yard at Rockaway Park. The route runs underground for the entire C and E portion but after Grant Avenue, the line becomes elevated and runs together from 80th Street to Rockaway Boulevard. Afterward, the A splits into the Ozone Park Line and the Rockaway Line. The Rockaway Line runs from Rockaway Boulevard to Far Rockaway and Rockaway Park. The line traverses via the old LIRR Rockaway Branch, and from Howard Beach to Broad Channel, the line goes over Jamaica Bay and travels on the "Flats" for around 3 miles.

    A Line:

The A Line runs from Inwood-207th Street, in Inwood, Manhattan to Ozone Park-Lefferts Boulevard (During Late Nights, A trains will not run to Ozone, instead a shuttle with a blue S bullet runs from Ozone to Euclid.), Far Rockaway-Mott Avenue, or during Rush Hours, down to Rockaway Park-Beach 116th Street. The Line runs express from 168th Street, in Washington Heights, Manhattan to Euclid Avenue in East New York, Brooklyn. (During Late Nights, the A will run local the entire way.) The A Line is the longest subway line in the NYC Subway stretching over 31 miles in length. The line is service by 207th St. Yard and Pitkin Yard. The Line is also served by the smaller Rockaway Park Yard. The line uses a fleet of R46 Cars and R179 Cars. Images below.

    The C Line:

The C Line runs from 168th St. in Washington Heights, Manhattan to Euclid Ave. in East New York, Brooklyn. The C runs entirely underground and the entire route runs local. The line is served by the Pitkin Yard and requires layups on both ends in order to turn around. The C is also serviced by the smaller 174th St. Yard, a would-been extension that never came to be and is now used as a place to store C trains. C trains do not run late at night and are replaced with A train service running local. (The A/C Lines share the same fleet as both run out of the same yard (Pitkin Yard) so no more images are provided except for 174th St. Yard.)

    The E Line:

The E line runs from Jamaica Center-Parson/Archer to World Trade Center running express on Queens Boulevard (not included in this suggestion) then running local from 50th Street to WTC. Due to the complexities of the Queens Boulevard trunk line, I will only be suggesting the section between Lexington Ave./53 St. to WTC station. The line will conist of R160s only. Mainly R160As. Images below.

    The S (Rockaway Shuttle) Line:

The Rockaway Shuttle runs between Broad Channel and Rockaway Park-Beach 116th St. at all times and consists only of R46s that run in a 4 car formation. At Broad Channel, trains go into the siding then come back into the station on the other track. Images below.

    SPECIAL SERVICES

S (Blue) During Late Nights, there is no A service to Lefferts Blvd. Instead, there is a late-night shuttle from Euclid Avenue to Ozone Park-Lefferts Blvd. This Shuttle also only consists of R46s.
Note* At 6 AM, the two shuttle trains that run on the Ozone Park Shuttle couple up at Lefferts and becomes an A train.

That is my suggestion to DTG.

Everyone let's get some support for this. If the UK can have their tube trains, us Americans should have our subway trains.

Good point and you might need to do BMT Broadway since it's connected to 8th ave line via 60th street tunnel connection 6th Avenue line 59th Street Columbus Circle and West 4th Street Washington Square. 8th ave line 59th Street to 145th late night service pattern is that A train R46 R179 DLC R211 Alstom Optonix local 6th Avenue D train Express. Late night E train local Jamaica parsons Archer all the way to World Trade Center. Express on Queens Blvd late nights F train layered from 6th ave line.

That is completely unnecessary. There is no need to bump

This is a great suggestion. The IND 8th Avenue line currently exists in OpenBVE and does a great job in terms of simulation, but it would be interesting to see If the subway gets developed for TSW2. I would consider this to be a rush hour route since trains a train can be encountered every 4-15 minutes. I would definitely be interested in a NYC subway route being developed for TSW2. The only thing is, the level of detail and sounds should be as close to on point as possible to replicate the subway. The ATS signals, fixed block signals, home signals, Grade Timers and Shot Timers should also be properly implemented, platform displays and platform totems. Currently, there are some CBTC transponders on the 8th Avenue line in midtown to lower Manhattan, but since CBTC is not active on the 8th avenue line yet, the route can be created pre-CBTC. The A line is one of my favorite subway lines in the MTA subway system, and it is unique as it is the longest subway line In the MTA subway system. If the route comes to TSW2, the R68 should be an option as one set is borrowed from the B line for rush hour peak passenger service. Along with the E line travelling to Lexington Avenue-53rd street, B and D trains should run as AI trains with a portal for them at just north of 145th street on the lower level and just south of West 4th street on the lower level

Its a system that has been suggested over 40 times (I counted) The fact that DTG ignores us is unfair.

I agree and your route is going to have 3 yards 207th street Pitkin Yard and Jamaica Yard which is actually located by where I-678 meets Grand Central Parkway. 1988 207th street yard connection to 1 train that was also the same time when Deutsche Bundesbahn made the tunnel at Bochum Langendreer for HRR RRO connection.
