I’m impressed with the appearance of this route so far. The 150 looks incredible. I just hope the route is not all fur coat and no knickers. The substance i.e. timetable, sounds, functionality all have to be impressive too. If Rivet wants my money it can’t be another IoW or Arosa Line.

The Class 43 should be a layer, although the current GWR livery would not be accurate for the period.

That 150 in Regional Railways livery takes me back to when I worked for Regional Railways NW in the 90's!

Does time really fly that fast, or was this route developed fast? Either way, nice to see that it’s nearing release. The Class 150 looks quite nice, hopefully it drives a lot better than the other locos that Rivet has made. Inclusion of the Class 37 is also cool, I love a bit of freight action.

indeed, but they already worked on it i guess before it was annouced.
swallow HST would be cool, but they need to remake the train a bit then...

I'm guessing working destination blinds for this are not a thing yet. Nice to hear a 37 and new wagons will be added. They could redeem themselves if they get this right :) or dig their hole even deeper...

So far I am not impressed by the slightest.

Whilst the 150 looks great and all, the same cannot be said about the route in this current point in time. It looks absolutely dreadful.

Have they seriously not learned from Arosa Line from the intentional oversight of distant scenery & foliage density?

This looks like it will be another trainwreck unless they can actually prove to us that the scenery will be changed in future updates...

General thoughts - looks stunning, surprised the route is this far along already.

Could someone more enlightened than me say if the Class 37/5 would be used for passenger services or freight only? And if the latter, then I strongly think consideration should be given to including some sort of 'express' locomotive for the Paddington-bound runs - a Swallow HST would be perfect. If that's not possible (I'm guessing the constraining reason on re-using that is that the sounds would need to be redone with Valenta engines?) then maybe a reskinned Class 47 and Mk2 rake with Class 08 for turnaround?

It would be a shame to have such a pretty route devoid of service variety.

I have no problem with train models by Rivet. Don't know if they are really precise or not but they look realistic to me. However I do doubt about all other aspects like train sound, scenery and gameplay. I understand that making those things good takes a lot of effort, but driving a nice train with an impossible timetable is not fun at all.

The Class 150 looks nice but I can’t say the same thing for the route itself.

There just seems to be a spam of trees placed anywhere and everywhere and randomly placed buildings and houses. The beach looks like a mud pit, too.

The 150 looks nice, although it will certainly be buggier than an ant's nest. The route might be downgraded by the lighting, but it does seem like Rivet's scenery habits haven't improved. WCL will probably be another of my 'sale only' routes...

The 150/2 looks lovely and the route looks, better than what people are saying. Not great, but fine.
    Also it’s still in development
I should add, IN MY OPINION

I'm impressed with the 150/2 model, but it could do with some weathering. The scenery is by no means perfect because it's still got a long way to go, overall I'm looking forward to what this route has in store for us though.

Gameplay will be a somewhat important factor in this route for sure. Rivet hasn’t done anything particularly interesting with the service mode for Isle of Wight of Arosalinie. IOW was understandable, because it’s, you know, the Isle of Wight. But with a complete lack of freight on the Arosa Line, that was a bit worrying.

Hopefully freight will be exciting on West Cornwall. Not sure if there are any freight yards, but at least something would be cool. Unless the real life route only sees mainline freight runs. And with passenger trains, I’m just hoping they make a decent timetable.

Some of the screenshot looks great while some are meh but the Class 150/2 do indeed looks great. My only gripe with what I seen in the screenshot is the color of the sand on the beach. Can't wait for a preview stream whenever that will be before I decide to buy this route. Don't me let down Rivet.

The Rivet design is a bit of an insult to the beautiful town of St. Ives and I hope it is looking more lifelike by the time it is released!!!

From the comparison, the design of St. Ives is atrocious and doesn’t resemble the beautiful seaside resort that St. Ives is. Come on Rivet get it looking better please. The image of their rendition at present is quite appalling.

Dovetail, this Branch Line shouldn’t be issued, until they can replicate St. Ives as it should be, but putting in big block buildings which don’t belong in the town is absolutely horrendous. They should have a Google Maps tool to use, but what I have seen of the portrait of St. Ives is absolutely awful, a five year old child could do it better.

St. Ives deserves to be well replicated. It is a very old and quaint seaside resort of great charm and character and deserves to be portrayed as such.

Just Trains go to great lengths to get their buildings accurately replicated, so why can’t Rivet. It would be better not to issue the branch line at all, if Rivet cannot replicate it accurately.

I wouldn’t count on it. Most of the ‘Work in progress’ shots is how it’ll look once released.

More interested in this now that freight is confirmed.

I'm less hung-up on scenery details as I have no firsthand experience with the area.

My biggest concern is what the timetable will look like, and if the freight services are more than just A-B runs. I really love the new Dresden route overall, but the DB BR 363 services are quite poor. Hoping for more like the 363 services from RSN, which are properly integrated with mainline runs.

I know there's not a shunter announced for West Cornwall, but my overall point is a hope that the services will have a bit of variety.

Overall I am impressed with the Rolling stock and really excited about the 150 and 37 and the new wagons.
Hope the service mode is engaging. Doubt a HST will be layered in as that is alot of work.

The 150 looks fantastic and it's good to see effort has been put into getting the track layout right for 90s with the sidings and crossover at St Erth which are no longer there.

Aswell as some other scenery issues mentioned, I do think the platforms at stations could do with a bit of weathering just to make them feel a bit more realistic as the ones at Penzance and St Ives seem a bit sterile to me.

It's good to see a Turbot and a Seacow in TSW. However, in the early 1990s, there was no scheduled freight traffic left west of Burngullow which is only two miles west of St Austell. There would be the occasional engineers' service (hence the Turbot and Seacow) but as there was no engineers' depot on the route these would only run when there was there track work in the area. The wagons would be taken to/from somewhere like Truro sidings for a weekend track possession.

The 150/2 in Reggie Rail livery brings back so many memories from childhood holidays in Devon in the 90s. Looks amazing and cat wait to play it

I am hoping that maybe a Valenta HST might be added?? Or a Class 50 or something as this would be a nice addition for the Mainline section.
