Hey everyone I have a pretty good suggestion since I love the London underground / Overground network so much I would like to suggest adding the Circle and District line as I would love to drive the S Stock as well as the amazing historic D78 Stock trains too I think this would be an amazing addition to Train Sim World 2 I would also be more than happy to pay for a DLC such as this expanding upon the London Underground Network in the Future.

    S Stock London Underground Train:
The London Underground S7 and S8 Stock, commonly referred to as S Stock, is a type of passenger train running on the London Underground's subsurface lines since 2010. Manufactured by Bombardier Transportation's Derby Litchurch Lane Works, the S Stock was ordered to replace the A60, A62, C69, C77 and D78 stock on the Metropolitan, District, Hammersmith & City, and Circle lines, which all dated from the 1960s and 1970s. The order was for a total of 192 trains (1,403 cars), and consisted of two types, S7 Stock for the Circle, District and Hammersmith & City lines, and S8 Stock for the Metropolitan line, with differences in the arrangement of seating and number of cars. Both types have air-conditioning and low floors to ease accessibility for disabled people, and also have open gangways to allow passengers to move from one car to another whilst the train is moving.

    D78 Stock London Underground Train:
The London Underground D78 Stock, commonly referred to as D Stock, was a type of sub-surface rolling stock which operated on the District line of the London Underground, except on the Wimbledon to Edgware Road service. The first units were withdrawn in January 2015 with the last withdrawn on 21 April 2017.

    A60 Stock London Underground train:
The A stock is a full-size subsurface-stock train which was built in the early 1960s by Cravens of Sheffield in two batches, designated as A60 and A62. It is used on the Metropolitan Line, from Aldgate and Baker Street to Amersham, Chesham, Watford and Uxbridge; it used also to operate on the East London Line, until LUL service was withdrawn in 2007. The A subsurface stock is the oldest type of train in passenger service on London Underground, and the only one old enough that it has separate controls in the cab for motoring and for braking.

Feel Free to have a read on the brief history and background of the trains and it would mean the world to me if this amazing community considers my suggestion and I would like to say a massive thank you to everyone for having a look if your just visiting or voting for my idea and stay safe everyone.

Circle would be easier than District (which is massive and complex), so maybe Circle, the middle bit of District and Hammersmith and City as well (which runs the northern and western section of Circle, and a bit of District out to Barking

I Agree with you there but it would be good to see them as two separate routes or a bundle.

At least I have found 3 Viable trains as the London underground Decommissioned the A60 Stock and the D78 Stock with the new S Stock trains.

great suggestion, hope we can see this route soon on the roadmap! I would love to have more Undergrounds & this one has newer and older units so thats great too, BKL with only the 1972 stock is bit boring (and yes 1938 is comming but it isn't the right era for it...)

Thats what I was thinking since they are bringing the historic 1938 tube stock to the london underground, I thought to myself what if we had the Circle and District Line with Both the Old and New plus I think a few stations on the circle and district line also meet the bakerloo line too so that could open up a transition via walking through a station to load into the other scenario so both lines are connected via a map load checkpoint.

I think the Circle + H&C Lines (in full) with the District to Upminster would be a nice little "network".

I really used to enjoy the WoS3 Circle Line.

Personally these routes come in 2nd place for the tube (out of 2), behind the Met. But they would great as well.

I agree with you plus with the trains I suggested I would love to drive the old D78 Stock, A Stock and the new and more modern S stock

Why would they be two separate routes when they use the same trains over the same lines from Hammersmith to Liverpool Street (18 stations)?
That would just mean a duplication of assets, timetable etc etc which would cause issues as time went by. Much better to have them as one route network rather than split assets

I feel being able to drive the newer and older trains on the London Underground will bring somthing Unique to Train Sim World 2 I know we already can do this with the 1938 stock underground train on Isle of White I think once the full size underground train with the old london underground livery is in the game its going to be great.

The most practical LU routes would be the Circle line and parts of the Met line, the latter of which would tie in nicely with a London Marylebone to Aylesbury route. Other routes are either too big (too many stations) or not practical (e.g. if using ATO).

You Make a good point about some routes being longer than others but to think it would make longer play time and you would be able ot explore more of the underground network too. I agree with you that the Circle line and the Metropolitan line would be pratical although I feel the District line would be good for this too as it runs paralell almost to the circle line as far as aldgate but looking at the map the circle would be most practical.

Map of the Circle and part of the District line along side part of the Metropolitan line

Looking at the map there parts of the game could be merged to join with the exsisting bakerloo line via an in game checkpoint / loading screen.

The district and circle share the southern part of the circle route from near Earl's Court to near Tower Hill. So not parallel, literally the same tracks and platforms
Same with the Circle and H&C from Hammersmith to Liverpool Street

That circle line map makes it look like you can "turn right" between paddington platforms. You can't
Would be better if there was an overlap between Praed Street and Edgware Road (which is the other terminus of the circle)

I see what the creators of these maps have done they have included the Hammersmith and City route too. Also I have noticed the District line map is slightly inaccurate I would reference the real London underground map

One other thing too I hope in a future update there can be announcments from on board the london underground trains from the Automatic Ann system too so when you get near a station it feels more like a real train journey.

I was thinking the Jubilee line or the Victoria line may be a viable route with the 1996 tube stock and the 2009 tubestock in the below post.

Bring it on and if Just Trains were to make this their TS 22 route Metropolitan Line joins in at Baker Street transfer to BKL which is a base game route. Therefore can be sold as TSW 2 Subsurface route pack Circle District and Metropolitan Lines to make the route Rush Hour style. For retro services add-in Steam and Electric locomotive

Yep agree with the suggestion. We could either have the circle line and the Wimbledon branch of the District line giving us District services between Wimbledon and Edware Road, Wimbledon and Tower Hill. There would also be Earls Court to Tower Hill services.

Or we could just have the "mainline" from Ealing Broadway to Upminster

One thing I do know with the London underground too I think if I remember correctly some routes run through each other I think or at least use the same tracks between some stations.

So Overall if there was to be a London underground rush hour based update with my idea you would get suggestively

    3 sub surface trains
    S7 Stock
    D78 Stock
    A60 Stock

Circle and District line + Additional Routes subject to developers and community decisions

A Total of 3 or more London Underground Routes including Bakerloo, Circle and District lines which effectively also opens up the circle and district lines to be crossed over as some London underground stations connect Circle and District to the Bakerloo line and this would work possibly with a load point or checkpoint in game.
