Yes I believe there’s gonna be services that you can drive what will be London Victoria to Gatwick airport with some continuing on to Brighton
How will we be able to change the 387 from DC to AC mode will it do it automatically? And how many services will be playable in total?
I will be very surprised if we can control the southeastern trains that will be seen in and around London Victoria even the depot runs are not likely to be driveable since this is a route just for the class 377 southern and class 387 with layers as ai but I hope I’m proved wrong
How close to realism is the traffic density at Clapham Junction? One of my favourite rail fan locations, I desperately hope it isn't deserted
Are there any new features in this route that haven't been included in any other routes, if so what are they? How busy is the timetable and what is the gap between each train like? Are there any challenging services/ senarios with yellow and red signals?
Since Clapham is mostly 444s, 455s, 450s and 458s and none of these are in the game, it will most definitely be deserted compared to real life. It's the busiest station in the whole of Britain, so we would need a supercomputer to simulate the 2-3 trains per minute in this station in rush hour.
Are there any special/different/new features coming to this route? Be it from the trains or the route itself.
Are the driveable passenger services purely between London to Brighton or can you operate Portsmouth services as far as Three Bridges? Would it be possible to have a Railtour that goes from London to Brighton on BML then on ESC pick it up and drive it to Eastbourne before doing a return trip back to London using both routes separately?
Are there any lessons you've learned through the development of this route? Was there anything that went horribly wrong that had to have a reevaluation? Most importantly, Have you taken on the feedback from other routes like SEHS on quality control?
For those that own the Great Western Express route will the class 166 appear in the London to Brighton as ai for reading to Gatwick airport services?
I'm assuming there will be a difference in the number of traffic on the route for new and old consoles. Can you tell us how (if at all) the experience will differ playing on a PS4 to a PS5? When Rush Hour was announced Matt said players would encounter more yellow and red signals making it harder to keep to time. Will players see more yellow and red signals in Service Mode? Will any of the trains have a functioning GSM-R? Even basic functions like making a sound when clicked? Boston Sprinter introduced "Character Dioramas." Will there be any line-side workers for us to see/sound the horn at in Service Mode? Please can you confirm all trains that will be available on this route, including trains layered from other DLC/routes? Thank you.
I would like to understand, Is this going to be a base layer route that future will add services too. What dlc (locos and routes) do I need to make this as busy as possible Will there be new dioramas? Will diggers actually move now?
How many services will Xbox One and PS4 get? What is the frame rate on the route on Xbox One and PS4?
How many TPH call at Clapham Junction in this? No one is expecting the 100 -180 TPH as in reality but its going to need a fair few to prevent the immersion being broken for many (me included). I mean the thought of arriving into the station with no other trains visible is going to destroy the illusion immensly. Static trains at unused platforms would definately help with the immersion here.
Apologies if any of these have been mentioned already: • Will the destination screens be automatic or able to be changed by the player? Will there be working MITRAC screens (and even working GSM-R)? • How much of Victoria and Clapham Junction be player accessible? • Will you be able to exit Selhurst and cross the road over to the depot (not essential but might be a nice little addition for gameplay)? • Will Hove be represented for the Littlehampton runs or will players have to start/finish these at Preston Park?
Someone mentioned sparks in here... Have you guys found an artist to create the effects for arcing yet? Or is that something for TSW3 And rail shoe sounds when?
I'm looking forward to this game play from London Victoria to Brighton. In the game, has the platforms been extended for 10 coaches at Stations between Balham and Croydon Stations? My second question, will there be a expansion pack later on for South London coming to TSW London Bridge, West Croydon and so many more other Stations? I am intrigued, will there be a Class 455 added some point in the year?
Will there be any future plans to connect the Brighton Main Line with the East Coastway route? If this was to happen what challenges would your team at DTG face? Will Selective Door Operation work properly on the Class 377 and Class 387? Will we see the East Croydon to Milton Keynes service be AI driven or the possibility to take over the service between East Croydon and Clapham Junction? How many platforms will be available to use for services to and from London Victoria? Will there be any timetabled services that run through the night, as some services run 24/7 between London Victoria and Gatwick Airport?
Are there any plans to develop a class 444, 455, 450 or 458 in the future? One of the reasons is due to the many services that pass through or stop at Clapham Junction with these consists. With the 387s being out of service at the moment due to COVID, there are class 377/4s replacing these trains and running the services (mainly from Gatwick Airport to London Victoria and vice versa)Will there be a scenario or possibly additional services with these modifications?
Can we please have a walk around in London Victoria at Rush Hour time and see how London Victoria looks and how busy it will be at rush hour time! A question: can we access the southeastern area in London Victoria and sit on a southeastern train and act as if we are driving on the southeastern line before it tells us we are ‘out of the world’?
What year is the Timetable based around and are there any freight services with the class 66. Also any Metro services like XX06/XX36 London Victoria to West Croydon?
Have any other landmarks bar Battersea PS been included. Not expecting huge levels of detail for the cities, but you should be able to see at least outlines of London Eye, Shard, City of London and a few other buildings. I believe Buckingham Palace isn't that far from Victoria so those doing a fly by should be able to see something there. Have spaces been left for portsmouth, caterham, Thameslink etc or have these had "placeholders" in place, or just not touched at all? Do we see branches and links in game, thinking WCW traffic, ECW, SE AI at Victoria (and in the depot) and so on What freight is there? There's a lot of freight at the north end of the route IRL and a good amount that runs down the line itself What about depot moves. A lot of trains are stabled all over the route and seem to move about regularly as ECS, especially between 22:00 and 05:00
Will the class 166 be a extra layer and is there in the time table room for additional dlc in the future such as class 700 if it were to be developed. It would be good to hear about post launch content for routes ?.
Has more memory optimisation made it into the route? Since it’s the busiest route in TSW so far and with the crashes on base consoles recently on Dresden route, I’m a bit nervous of not melting my Xbox one! Also, reflective signage. Is that coming in with the Brighton route?
Its mentioned in the article Electrostar Duet "Rush Hour: London Commuter feature 4,8 and 12 car train’s, depending on the service. "
Doesn't matter which they show it on so long as it shows it off properly (ie at least 1080 and at 60fps or similar). If you want to see how it runs on console (probably specifically your type of console) then you will when it comes out. A reveal stream should show it off to it's best advantage rather than stuttering and spluttering (like on Matt's laptop)
Does the Class 387 have the pantograph if yes. Will you be able to use them in scenario planner for example someone makes a Great Western Livery and makes a scenario with Class 387s
1) How many service will we have to split up and will we get some service that join together. 2) do we have Platform 0 at Redhill and new layout of Gatwick Airport station
There aren't Southern trains which run from London Bridge to Brighton, only Thameslink ones, and the licensing for TL (probably specifically the 700s) hasn't been obtained by DTG (hence not having it in any of their products)
