BR422 Talent 2 has worked for quite a while. Its been visible in the list of locomotives under advanced controls for quite a while.

The DB BR 182 and DB 767.2DAB pbzfa do not show in the locomotive list under advanced controls so I've not made key mappings for them.

The M3 and M7 from LIRR are available in my latest mappings.
    https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Y4FuN6yC6Z1UNtCZMLaDPcDDDZTP-Ua7/view?usp=sharing

I did not spot any other new locomotives that did not already have Raildriver. I had a quick scan and none of the others seem to have changed keys this time.

Hmmm ... strange since I have them in that list and I really had to look them up because DTG in all it's wisdom changed EVERY BUTTON except pause. Arrrg ...

BR422 Talent 2 MD is missing - the silver version for Rapid Transit. The red Talent version for Koln is supported. So I'm kinda dissapointed, i was expecting Talent for Rapid transit too, since it's pretty much the same loco. The DB BR 182 and DB 767.2 are both visible for me - do you have 182 DLC?

That would be it. One of the few DLC I don't have :). Next sale I will fix that.

Just btw, the RT Talent 2 is the DB BR 1442, not DB BR 442 ;)

There is no raildriver support for the DB BR 204. I believed it had and purchased the loco. I hope that I'll be able to use the raildriver with the BR 204 soon.

I count 14 loco's on UK various routes that do not have raildriver support. I haven't touched TSW2 for a few months now although I watch the odd video. Could you tell me DTG if the 166 and 43 on the GWE will be supported by raildriver or am I wasting my time here?

Implementing RD support for the PC locos is "in production" on the most recent Roadmap. So, it likely will happen, but how soon is up in the air.

They did a preservation crew pass of ECW right? but the 66 & 377 didn't get raildriver support, I haven't seen any information if this was coming with the PIS screens also? Thought they would get support alongside Rush Hour and BML.

They talked about locos getting Raildriver in preserved collection last week on the Roadmap stream with Nat and Adam.

For the summer update in the road map they talked about specifically
    • All MSB locomotives
    • West Somerset
They've talked about Rapid Transit getting it earlier as it was in testing when the RT update went out.

They do say they are expecting a "reasonable number" more but didn't commit as they have to pass testing.

Watch the RoadMap stream from 50.18 to find out more

Just noticed in the EPG build there are two two locos, KAH BR442 (we've not had the 442 before) and KAH BR406 - sigh, yes we now have two different BR406 setups for RailDriver.

Did they mention the 166 having RailDriver support in the stream? Seeing how you can select it in the BML DLC. I started to watch the stream but fell asleep again, insomnia, so I'd be grateful if anyone could let me know and will save me having to watch it again, cheers.

If I understood them correctly, I think they were saying that the stock which comes with BML will have RailDriver support, but the stock, such as the 166, which is from other routes, will not.

It's a real pain in the rear end when some trains in a route are RD compatible and others are not. I generally only run trains that are, which means that I'd almost rather they'd layered in the Class 101 instead of the 166, even though it would be totally out of place. :):)

Bloody hell, it is like DTG are determined to not offer RD support to the 166 and HST. I know it might seem lame to some but I have been looking forward to driving the 166 and HST for ages now. Puts me off buying the BML even though it looks a good route.

Tell you what DTG, you give the 166 RD support and I'll buy the BML and if you give the HST RD support I'll buy Cathcart, can't say fairer than that eh?

Having watched the stream last night, and stayed awake, but not fully alert I thought I heard Adam say that the RD will be coming to the 166 and HST. Did I hear him right? And then he kinda spoiled the moment by saying we won't see anything for a few months yet. Just want to check if I heard him right?

If he did I'll buy the BML but will hold off Cathcart untill it is released.

CRR SD40 ... says supported but having lots of problems. Very clitchy. Sometimes works... most times doesn't. RD works on other SD40's. All locos in sandpatch work fine. Anybody else experience problems with this loco. The F7 works fine.
    Thanks.

What sort of issues are you having? The only one I know of is the throttle being hard to set particular notches.

I find that the throttle does not work well with the new WCL 150/2 and 37/5 the minute you ease it forward it goes right into notch 5 or 7

I’m not having the same issue. Just to check, are you using the full travel of the lever? Notch 0 is right at the top, The middle position which would normally be 0 is Notch 4 on mine.

    A strange implementation.

Automatic brake is te same as throttle. Can't se specific notches.

That is because its different on every locomotive. If we take a real brake handle from say the Westinhouse/Wabco family then it will have specific notches with charge/release, running, lap, apply, emergency; and you push into apply then back to lap. Other brakes such as those found on the ACS-64 don't work this way, the further you push the handle from you the harder they brake. Others use a pulse - moving the handle away and back but always centreing between each of these. This generality means there is no notching ability built into the handle which needs to work on all types of locomotive.

Did this work for you? Some locos use the entire throw of the throttle lever.

You know, RD has been in beta testing for nearly a year now. I'm starting to wonder when, if ever, we will be able to move on to a full implementation of the application. Is there any sign that DTG are making progress in this direction? Except for inconsistent compatibility for each new loco, nothing much is said about it. No patch notes for locos with varying implementations. And what's happening with the missing preserved locos?

TBH I'm getting tired of waiting and will move on to something else. We get to hear things like 'RD is easy to implement' and Adam saying all the preserved routes have been done bar 6 but has no idea when the fixes will be released. I think this all depends on Matt if he thinks it is important or not. Some sort of timeframe would be welcome, some of us have been waiting for months. If the RD is coming soon please tell us or if it isn't coming let us know so we can move on.

Actually, the DB BR 143 works with RD, and it works really good, I don't know when dovetail will release the preservation update to ruhr sieg nord, but maybe this loco RD implementation could be a signal that they are working on it. I want to buy the DB BR 155 at black Friday to see if it works to.
I can't play without Rail driver, even more I builded a little expansion for it with a few more buttons to sifa, pzb, doors and ligths IMG_20211114_091143.jpg

    That’s a very impressive panel.

Sorry for the questions but did you use an old USB Controller chip to connect up the buttons? And what do you drive the Voltmeter with?

I buyed by amazon a USB chip to arcade machine (it is a printed circuit with terminals to link the buttons; normally open buttons, and you can choose anyone you like and install it on a wood or plastic board doing round holes with a drill). The printed circuit is like a classic USB control of PlayStation or Xbox, and you can change the classic functions (x, y, b, a) for keyboard keys with the steam options for controllers. IMG-20211107-WA0000.jpeg

The volt meter: the printed circuit have already another output saying "5v", this one is used to turn on the dc led lights (like the white light I use to SIFA you seen at picture) and you can link the volt meter to show the voltage, it is only decorative.
Sorry for my English, I try my best but it is not my mother language. I hope helped you with the questions.

I apologize for the explanations about the "rail driver extension" I know this not the right post to discuss it.
    Greetings!
