This pack would contain 3 trains which are all misses from rush hour. These are all the trains that many others have suggested. This would be sold for £19.99 and could work a bit like the rush hour season ticket or a group bundle like diesel legends. This pack would contain the Acela, the ice-t and the class 700. So without further ado lets get into the trains. The Class 700 The class 700 was built by Siemens mobility and operates along the Brighton mainline. They are a dual voltage emu. It has the opportunity to serve 4tph in every direction. It is operated by Thameslink. This train could also layer onto southeastern high-speed as it operates some services along that route. The ICE-T The ICE-T operates services on riesa-dresden. This would replace the current inaccurate services operated by ice 3. The ICE-T is a tilting train operated by Deutsche bahn. It is capable of tilting up to 8 degrees. The Acela The Acela operates high speed services on Boston. Like the ICE-T it is a tilting train. It can travel at speeds up to 150 mph and reaches this top speed on Boston. It is the fastest train in the US even though it averages a speed of 72.5 mph. It is currently in the process of being replaced. It can also tilt up to 8 degrees. Conclusion In conclusion this would make an excellent add-on for the rush hour routes as it is a rush hour train bundle. I would love to see this in game.
London Blackfriars is a bit pointless, London bridge makes sense due to it being the other branch of the bml
I’d rather have a class 455 to work out of Victoria to be honest. I like the idea of the other two though
Excellent idea and if you are wondering what is the maximum speed for ICE-T DB BR411/415 230 km/h 145 mph making it five miles per hour slower 10 km slower than Acela Express 240 km/h 150 mph
Let's be a bit real here, DTG would not do a pack for 3 locomotives especially at that price, at most each loco would be its own individual DLC at the standard price.....
I'm no expert on BML, but I'm pretty sure there are some EMUs and DMUs that would run on there that we didn't get in Rush Hour? The Class 455 and Turbostar seem appropriate for Southern? I suppose they'd be more viable if they'd also work on EC. However, I do like the OPs choices. The only real issue would be the value for money. Not everyone purchased all 3 routes. Let's say someone bought Dresden and Boston but ignored BML. They'd get 2 out of the 3 trains and one they couldn't use in timetables. Would be available for scenario planner, but overall, it's a reduction in value. How about 2 or 3 trains for each DLC, forming 3 separate add-ons?
I went for a season pass style version as stated in my suggestion so you could use it like the rush hour pass and buy them separately
The ICET is basically pointless cuz you won't even be able to reach top speed on the route. (Top speed: 230kmh). DTG should make a route the ICET runs on where they get to go top speed, and then replace the ICE3 services on the route and layer the ICET. DTG could also add the HSP46 to NEC as that is the only other common visitor to the Providence line. Has great sounds and looks very different compared to the F40, and would bring a new loco to the game. It can also come with the multi-levels and cab car as those are what are most commonly seen on the NEC in modern times. HSP46: Multi-levels and cab car:
You can reach top speed because it is a tilting train and lzb allows it to travel at that speed as it tilts
I think it should be 3 DLCs wich you can buy themselves or for 24.99 Pounds as a pack. You said that some people only bought 2 routes but im sure that almost nobody has bought more than one route but hasn't bought the season ticket because 2 routes are more expensive than the season ticket
I'm pretty sure that the opening of the 300km/h Nurnburg - Erfurt to Leipzig HSL has seen a lot more ICE 3s working into East Germany
You're right, though if they only bought one, it's even worse value as a pack? Therefore it should be available separately
I love the idea. Looking at the current issue with DLC limits on some platforms, and performance issues on PC with BML I think extra DLC should be carefully looked at. The Class 700 would have to be the next DLC for this route, based on how far it operates on the route as it stands East Croydon to Brighton. I feel the class 166 and HST and class 375 wasn't necessary. The 166 because of the short distance it runs and its regularity. and the HST and 375 for its rareness. Maybe these could be removed if it improves performance.
I think the Turbos run to Uckfield from London Bridge to South Croydon then to Uckfield (So East Croydon then one stop). The 455s operate inner suburban routs that also come off at various points till East Croydon.
I agree and After Leipzig Riesa-Dresden Railway the DB BR411 415 ICE-T they max out on Schnellfahrstrecke Leipzig Erfurt.
