PC Blurred Textures

I have this issue, already since years, occasionally the textures in the loco degraded. They have usually recovered after a while and it didn't bother me too much.

However, since the DRA update it seems to have gotten worse. Its now not only inside, but it also affects the outside of the loco and parts of the scenery as well.



Now, its clear that it has something to do with memory usage. I am not running a high end system, however, it still has 16GB of RAM and during the game the RAM usage does not go above approx 6 to 7GB. I am usually limited by my GPU, which still has 10GB and it should do the trick.

I have already played around with the in game settings, but with no effect on this problem.

Any ideas how I can fix this? Is anybody else experiencing this?

Thanks again fanta1682002 ! It has done the trick, at least for the important textures. Some are still getting blurry, however, only stuff you dont need to drive the train.

 

Yes, reverted it the minute I tried it out, some time back. Had only negative impact on my system...
