Oh dear, looks like Rivet still haven't learned from Arosa about the lack of distant scenery... Not overly impressed at the moment...

Also the inclusion of a new front headcode on the 37 is nice, however looks too "squished". Not exactly Rivet's fault since the nose of the 37 was incorrectly shaped to begin with.

I'll be curious to see what the stream will reveal later today.

Looks fantastic. The 150 in Reggie Rail livery is one of my all time favourites so I'm looking forward to driving it on the game.

Oooo this is exciting, a Regional Railways class 150 is very high on the list of trains I have wanted to see in this game from the beginning. I hope a place can be found for it to layer in on future routes too.

Okay, this definitely doesn’t look bad! I hope that the train physics, sounds, and timetable are better than their previous outings… fingers crossed! I do genuinely want to see them producing solid DLC.

I wonder if someone could add the GWE HST into the timetable with that unofficial editor for the PC players. All we'd need then is for the livery editor pass over the GWE route and someone to create a livery for the class 43 and coaches to suit the era of this route.

Hopefully this route will be an excellent route.

Will be watching the stream tonight with interest. I’ll be looking out for:
    • Does the 150 sound authentic and is the volume at the correct (or reasonable) level inside and outside the train and with the cab windows opened and closed.
    • Is the scenery of decent quality and in line with that seen on Cathcart Circle.
    • Any obvious bugs/glitches.
    • That the timetable is accurate to that of the route and not computer generated. I don’t want to be rushing from station to station with no set up time beforehand. BML is excellent in this regard.
    • That Rivet has taken onboard early feedback AND is committed to promptly fixing issues the community reasonably identify.
If Rivet and the route can fulfil these minimum requirements, I’ll be interested in buying this route once the PS5 DLC issue is resolved - but not before.

I am excited for this route. I hope it turns out good unlike Arosaline. Now since the Class 150 is the only passenger train for this route, I assume it won't be busy in terms of passing other trains.

Nope not at all. Am getting the route but when releasing all your content at once. There's no content left for upcoming month's.

Being not local I must admit this looks quite good on the screenshots. Distant scenery is a bit concerning but we'll see. The 150 has enormous potential and finally another DMU is good for the variety.

Let's hope Arosa gets fixed someday that this can actually be considered if it's worth a buy or not...

The BML was delayed by a couple of months don't forget, The 1938 Tube stock was on the Roadmap as well for a while so I don't know if there were any issues with that as well

Hopefully they use that time wisely and focus on bug fixing and smoothing out areas that are a little rough. I wouldn't mind not getting anything new for a little while if it means everything I have already is worked to a high quality.

Looks quite promising. Barring any further technical disasters revealing themselves, I might pick this up... once the DLC and trophy issues are resolved.

Err the Hayle to Truro line is much older than 1860's
Hayle to Truro mineral line down to Newham was opened in the 1820's!

Plus I think you will find May 5th 1859 was when the GWR main line opened.

In fact prior to 1859 Truro had two stations, GWR broad gauge to the east and standard mineral line to the west.

It wasn't until the tunnel was constructed under the road connecting the two lines that it was considered whole.

The opening of the mainline was in conjunction with IKB opening his Bridge over the Tamar.

Apart from that you are spot on!

Kind of an awkward one for authenticity, Northern Trans-Pennine predates Regional Railways and Tees Valley didn't really see Sprinters during the period if at all.

assuming St Ives branch line is still in this dlc, but this article makes no mention of this in its name ?

when it releases you all are gonna see that you just wake up from a dream into a nightmare. Yes because you are saying bug free etc etc but is just a dream that, when it releases are gonna be a nightmare.

It could be likely good route but I want to see fixing of bugs in previous Rivet releases (broken PZB-mode of 204, infamous and proverbial Arosa line and so on and so on. When Rivet fix these bugs I will buy their new routes.

OMG!! Sand has been patched ;)

However quick sand has been installed by the doors. Yes I know it’s a dev build but still…

looks great though. Still won’t be buying due to the trophy mess.

cried a little when Matt just earned a trophy in the stream… realised it was a core through that popped :D:o

Which to the best of my knowledge isn't in or planned for TSW. At best it could make a guest appearance at Brighton on BML twice a day, appearing off stage for about 30 seconds for the run into P1 then back again to the portal! And when I was a Duty Manager in the Wales and West Control around that era, the Brighton services were second only to the Cardiff to Waterloos for allocating a 158. You would send a 150 to Manchester or Birmingham before Portsmouth or Brighton.

After seeing tonight’s stream, I’m really impressed with how this route has turned out, the sounds of the trains (whilst I do not know then personally) sound very good on both locos especially when beginning to accelerate and leave stops and when the breaks release with the class 150, the sounds of the 37 moving about makes great wheel clunk noise aswell. Nice details on new wagons, nice level of interaction with them

the scenery of this route is completely a big step from Arosa, each station looks highly detailed and the sand on the beaches with the water effect is well welcomed, good density of trees is also a bonus since Arosa, also nice to see them considering the time period when it comes to collectibles.

this route is looking like a day 1 purchase, looking forward to seeing more streams and getting to see it when it releases

Hopefully Graphics issues on Xbox get fixed soon

It’s certainly an improvement on IoW and Arosa Line. It’s not perfect, but credit where credit is due. They are learning and doing better, which is only positive.
