I would not buy an entire route again for a few scenarios and they might be very similar to what you have.
When buying RSSLO stuff I always get it direct - they have enough sales over the years and you can find scenarios on RailSim.de
    https://rail-sim.de/forum/filebase/filebase/1238-commercial-routes/

No 749006, I wouldn’t buy a route but would buying the loco again in the sale from RSSLO be worth it for the extra scenarios as compared to the different scenarios on Steam that come with the same locomotive?

I am normally not keen on buying the same item twice. For instance, I'm not likely to get the stripped down 313 on Steam just because it has scenarios that are different than the ones AP sells. Same with the 315. Or the 205. Though, in the case of the 205, I can't play those scenarios currently (supposedly I have to buy some 319 pack first, then install an extra stock pack for more 421s and 423s), so I wouldn't say no to cloned copies of the Steam versions of the scenarios only for that reason (I could probably swap stock and make them myself, but may not be identical). Also, fun fact: 5L89 in the Steam 205 pack is actually a South London Network scenario in the AP version.

For the BR 612 you are paying 10,49 € for 5 Scenarios
You would need the 3 routes from DTG, two are quite old, to run those scenarios
The 4th one requires the Spielfeld-Strass – Bad Radkersburg Route which is 31km and requires more stock for its scenarios

I personally don't think it is worth spending the money for scenarios if you have the units.
You can find lots of scenarios for them on RailSim.de

Since everything they sell can be classed as an "addon pack"...what exactly is included? :D

Noticed that there's a Western Austria route from RSSLO that requires their version of Mittenwaldbahn because the steam version isn't correct. Kinda sucks for those who have the steam version of it.

Is the problem the route itself, or the train on the route? Users can just substitute the train from the other route into the scenarios.

In fact, here's an idea. If you want to create alternate versions of the scenarios for the Steam version of the train, you can probably release that pack as a free download. You still need the route to play them, I also wonder if the route may eventually come to Steam and versions with that edition of the train may come to pass anyway.

    The problem is the Route
PhÜnKî_Rø0sTā is talking about the Combined Route - Western Austria
    https://www.rsslo.com/product/combine-western-austria/
This combine three routes (Arlbergbahn, Tirol Austria and Mittenwaldbahn) into one route.
Without the RSSLO version you would just have empty space on the Mittenwaldbahn

There are no thru services off the Mittenwaldbahn that go beyond Innsbruck.
Most of the traffic off the Arlberg route goes in to the Tirol towards Worgl the Salzburg or Rosenheim and Munchen

Just a late comment to this, as I was going over old posts.

The Class 378 comes with North London Line, which itself comes with the Goblin Lines (you'll have to contact CS about the missing NLL scenarios if you get the Goblin Lines for the bundle). So don't waste extra money on the twin pack for SLN. A lot of the "value bundles" they are coming out with recently are just combining very old products already bundled in other ways.

Frankly, the entire store needs to be looked at and all items sold need to be documented as to their locations so DTG doesn't offer these literally worthless bundles. Buyer beware.

Do we need a code to access the sale? Looking at the BR wagon pack it's still £5.99? Or only selected content?

The codes are clearly written on the DT website and Facebook page.

Get 40% off all products they sell. Enter code “DT40” in your cart. Ends October 31st.

Get 60% off all products by spending at least £25. Enter code “DT60”

Everything is priced normally on the site. Once you have bought an item and get to checkout there is a box where you can enter the discount code and click UPDATE. The price you pay is then recalculated showing how much you have saved. Hope that helps.

60% off? So your $25 turns into $10?

Now we're talking...except it would still be closer to $50 for me and $20 spent...

Unfortunately I can't seem to add items to the cart for the DT sale - I can only checkout one item at a time (and so cant get the 60% off) - is the store bugged for anyone else?

That's what I said. 25 pounds, today, converts to $42.31 CAD. Higher with "Paypal Tax".

Some of the content e.g. DT L&Y A Class pack comes with 3 scenarios included.
Please note they may also need additional purchases to run correctly, much the same as most 3rd party addons.

Most of the Loco packs have a quick drive option (as long as you also have the coaches / wagons they use, e.g. the SECR-H loco requires the Matrix Trains SECR Birdcage Coaches from the marketplace).

Other than that, this type of 3rd party addon is aimed more towards the scenario creators amongst us.
You could as an option use something like TS-Tools or the scenario editor to swap out existing content in scenarios you already have, to use the DT content.
That is something I do on a regular basis, especially on routes like the Western Lines of Scotland, or GWR scenarios on the 50s Riviera Line
    Hope that helps

    Sigh.
Taking comments out of context is not a way to get the last point. MY OWN POST stated that it's closer to $50 for me. Which is akin to "25 pounds, today, converts to $42.31 CAD". So can we please not argue over the meaning of words?

You can use them directly in custom Quick Drive consists which you create directly in Quick Drive. You can also create your own scenarios that use them, or modify existing scenarios to use them. Some wagon and coach packs come with their own scenarios, though these may need other DLC to operate,

Has anyone got any particular recommendations in the sub-€10 category of the DTG store sale? Loads of bits and pieces there, hard to pick.

No point is us recommending a DLC if it is something you are not interested in
What do you want UK, US, EU? Route, Train? Steam, Diesel, Electric?

You'll have to contact CS. This seems to be a regular problem at the main storefront with Paypal connections or something, so they'd be able to sort it out.

Does anyone else recall last year's DTG store Spooky Sale being pretty big with everything on sale with at least some discount. This year is...underwhelming. Mostly just discounts on very old stock and routes and nothing at all for TSW2.

He should have said to contact DTG as the current sale only on the DTG Store.
DTG Sell you a key for the product and you activate it in the Steam Client

The answer is yes. I presumed it was evident to contact DTG CS because it is the DTG storefront and they have to send the key. If you have problems activating the key, then you could try Valve.

I was honestly just asking for people's own favourites - I bought the New ICE3 and Falmouth Branch in the end so, I really wouldn't be able to narrow that down. Anyway, found some stuff all the same.

    Two good UK Routes

I'll second the suggestion for Weardale & Teesdale netwok. North England, the late steam to early diesel transition era.

It is a great route to get as your first one (or one of the first ones), because from thre you can easily expand your collection either "into the future" to the British blue diesel era, or "towards the past" into the BR steam era.

Speaking of that, a great "companion route" to Weardale and Teesdale is the "Stainmore, Shap & Eden Valley Route" : https://www.steamsoundssupreme.com/stainmore-shap-eden-valley.html

That route covers the area immedieatly west of teh Weardale & Teesdale zone, includes a HUGE amount of amazing rolling stock from the late 50s and also the scenery is great and includes many custom assets.
    ]
In a sense, the steam-to-diesel transition era is probably the most interesting of the British periods covered by the game. Just my own opinion: If you want to nstart your adventure with British lines, get "Weardale & Teesdale" first, then if you like it get "Stainmore, Shap & Eden Valley" second.
