It was probabily a pre-prepared joke, "fired for the second time this week" "apology muffins"? They were both laughing after that happened. The usual Adam speaks too much thing which is going on since he first appeared on stream.
If it was prepared then it was very funny. If it wasn’t prepared then it is a nice glimpse into their work humour. One thing I find amazing is how they all manage to not accidentally mention things they know are being worked on when talking quickly about the multitude of facets of the game and its content. I would have expected far more slips of the tongue from everyone and not just from Adam getting too excited.
Totally agree with stujoy, they must have some specialist lessons on how not to spill all the beans. I defiantly think Matt and Adam struggle sometimes, which is a good thing for us as it means there is stuff to get excited about
Thanks for posting that. Couldn't be bothered to rewind and look for it. Definitely staged. Wonder if Adam will be sitting in a cardboard box next time...
That was funny, but I think it was staged as the stream started at 8:00 PM local time, and the chat says 7:38 PM. I think the picture is the mastery tile on WSR.
Guess so. The "don't say that" probably referred to something like "we're bringing the first steam loco" or something like that
I wonder why they decided not to put that static model in. I wonder if it's perhaps to do with the "diesel gala" excuse to justify the lack of steamer at the time.
Sometimes it is very hard to keep a secret. It is fun to see anyway. Sometimes it must be very hard for them not to be allowed to talk on cool stuff they are working on.
Adam did make a slight slip late last year that they were looking at unreal 4.26 and then Sam and Matt had to cover slightly on the end of year q&a basically saying that developers always look at the shiny new things and there weren't plans for 4.26
