The streamlined LMS Coronation Class 6229 "Duchess Of Hamilton" stretching her legs across the Deepdale Viaduct on the Stainmore Route.
Closest things I've got to a streamliner at the moment so, enjoy. (Can't let Craigie-C have an easy win )
Pulling out of St. Pancras on a grey foggy morning. Loco:- Class 395 Route:- London - Faversham High Speed.
NJT F40PH and 5 Comet V coaches in NJT livery on the Metro North Port Jervis line at Harriman station
A GNER Intercity 225 prepares to depart from London Kings Cross for a run up the ECML to Leeds. 91121 'Archbishop Thomas Cranmer' is leading and 82221 DVT is at the rear of the set.
Alright, its time for the results! Here's my picks for this week's contest: In 3rd, we have NEC Railfan with their shot of a CNJ Pacific in the 1930s. (Where'd you find that model btw?) In 2nd, we have joerg.kuenscher with a nice looking shot of a GWR HST. And in 1st, we have Craigie-C and a fantastic shot of the "Duchess of Hamilton". I'm only partially interested British steam but I'll always have a soft spot for the LMS Coronation Class. Great screenshots this week everyone! I look forward to participating in the next competition.
There's a pack of MSTS converted steam locomotives, among them is that CNJ pacific, a New Haven I5, a Hudson, (which we now have a replacement for) Milwaukee F7, UP9000, an old 844, 2926, 261, and others (including some continental Euro stuff and a really funky triplex that can be turned into a B&O 2-8-8-0 with the Britkits tenders). And for a look at the majority of the MSTS Conversions, as well as a throwback to a younger TS20XX, here's a video made by Fan Railer on TubeYou:
Cheers Buynot well appreciated. Must admit I had been playing with the idea of grabbing this classic for a while, you chosing the theme "Streamliners" just pushed me over the edge and it just had to be had. Better get the new thread up & running..... I have decided to go with the theme "Looking Back" Edit: Here you go folks https://forums.dovetailgames.com/threads/unofficial-screenshot-competition-week-31.48456/ Good luck to you all.
