Is anyone else who plays TSW2 through epic not able to play the west Cornwall route released 04/11/21. I bought it via epic and downloaded it but it does not appear in game. It appears as an add on in the epic store to purchase but it does not appear in the in game store and does not show up as one of your routes once purchased and downloaded. In epic add on list it appears as DLC18 with no picture?
Have the same issue, bought, loaded, shows as DLC18 in Epic addons but is nowhere to be found ingame. (ingame shop also isn't showing the route) and I already tried to verify files.
Same here. Tried verifying the files, no luck. I reinstalled the whole game to a different location, still nothing. This is ridiculous DTG, need to fix it ASAP. Really thinking about refunding it - in general, this is one of the buggiest game I've played. Real shame.
I have the same issue, tried verify and reinstall, still an issue. All very disappointing and only serves to cast doubt on future purchases.
Have any of you submitted a ticket with DTG and or EPIC that would the next step if you're still having issues.
I don't want to badmouth the Epic version but it seems to have a lot of problems in addition to the actual TSW 2 problems. Ever considered switching to the Steam version?
The DLC is now appearing in the epic add on section, however it is still not appearing in game as a route or in the in game store section. I have re-installed it again, verified the game and still no joy. This is my first issue with a DLC on epic which does not instil with confidence for future DLC. The game clearly hasn't been patched for the new route or latest version (mine is showing 1.0.93).
Is it working for you now? I've created a ticket on friday and they asked me for the receipt, sent it in, and haven't heard back yet. (Yeah I know, the weekend). Multiple checks and a clean new install later it's still not working for me.
Hi, yeah I raised a ticket on Thursday and got a key on Friday which made the route work. If memory serves correct a patch is coming to epic today to sort out the issue. So I hope for all epic customers, by the time you read this its fixed. Fingers crossed
Thanks for the update, as of now I still can't access the route, but I'll wait and not bother support again. Hoping that the wait will soon be over.
Hi, guys. I do have the west Cornwall from the Epic too but it runs in my TSW2. Meanwhile, I have the same problem on the Great Legends of the Great Western DLC. Hope that Epic and DTG can fix it.
I am having trouble too with diesel legends. I have the GWR route and bought the add on later which does not show in game even though downloaded. I have raised a support ticket four days ago and no response yet. Oh well. I would have refunded this but I still enjoy the game will give dovetail some space but not for long.
So I just purchased a route on the epic game’s version of Train Sim World 2 , Got my PayPal receipts and everything. Restarted the game and nothing, A message from the epic games launcher popped up a few minutes later saying an update is required before it can be launched again. Fingers crossed that this is the DLC installment, if not a refund will be submitted quickly! If it is successful I will update this response to this thread. EDIT: So after about 15 minutes the route successfully installed, I was about to have a fit.
this would have been better on it's own post... responding to a post that's over two months old isn't allowed in the site's rules (it's called necroposting, ie responding to a "dead post") When you buy a game through the epic store you have to allow time for the store's downloader process to go and fetch the new update... this can take some time depending on how it's set up and is NOT part of DTGs software, but part of Epic's so your quarrel would be with them, not DTG Glad it all got straightened out, but do remember that just because you bought it doesn't mean it's going to insta-install the same as the main game did. Some things take time
